  1. @Alphin Aloor no it's not faster. The tank is to run "Air-Tools". This is why ARB gave an air-gun to blow compressed air and clean your engine bay or car interior or inflate air-mattresses when camping. The best is if you need to change tires, you can use Air Impact Wrench to open your tire lugs instead of manual-wrenching 5-6 bolts 😊. The theory why an Air Tool (airgun, air-wrench, air-hammer) needs a tank >> "A tank dampens pulsation, providing a steady flow of compressed air at constant pressure. Uniform airflow makes it easier to work and reduces wear on your machine" See video below https://youtu.be/xTtnPCtddyY?feature=shared
  2. Thanks Doc @M.Seidam , the last 1 hour was exhilirating! 👍🏻 Got to test my new skid plate surfing dunes & ripping ridges 😁 There were some sticky situations, but with ideas generation and teamwork we overcame all these obstacles and glad everyone exited safely. @Rizwanm2 was great 2nd lead, amazing that he continued & persevered after the pop-out, managing to catch up the Marshall with just 15psi 👍🏻 @Senthil Kumar great meeting you bro and good driving, hope you get the front hook fixed.
  3. Hi @Andrei S , don't uproot yourself over these small things. @Gary F @Zulfikhar Naiyar @Krishna R should have been your spotters everytime you reverse in the dark, but I guess they miss the trees for the larger forest & night landscape. No need to break a twig though, teamwork takes time and we can learn it from trees as this Forbes article says. It's good you carry that useful tool in the cargo, as any one, two, or tree will think twice before they have an axe to grind with you. Glad we all bury the hatchet last night, except for that one tree. After various non-destructive attempts, the 3.8 Jeep was frustrated, screaming "LEAF me alone!" Alas, since the tree wooden give in, the last option was chosen. And we all have to seed some plants to respect and restore nature's balance. Until next time, Andrei The Tree, First of His Name, Conqueror of Wild Shrubs 🎋, Beholder of the Red Axe 🪓
  4. it's USA-spec, so doesn't follow GCC 😂
  5. confirmed @Varun Mehndiratta, just saw there's still space in this drive 😁
  6. Wow that's even cooler, a 10 out of 10 😁 Thank you @Gaurav and @Carnity team for granting this. And congrats to the others too, good job everyone, keep up the spirit 🫡 @Asif [email protected]@Looper@DP1011@GauravSoni
  7. Wow this is so cool, thanks @Frederic glad I joined your drive after office hours 😁 Actually I don't know much about offroad cars, my computer science background makes it simple binary: you can either break them or drive them 😂
  8. Key Moments: Part 1 Minutes 2:16 and 9:35 , Part 2 Minutes 2:14 and 9:10 @Looper where is the tall dune climb towards the end? Memory full / battery run-outs? 😄
  9. @M.Seidam @DP1011 i have updated my signature to reflect my Decision Process: For now, simple: only LC has the night lights 😂
  10. @Frederic you gotta repeat this but maybe 9pm meeting time instead of 6pm 😅
  11. I like your calm & composed handling of the senior LC 76 👍🏻, treating it as a precious gem being navigated through a fun journey to reach the rewarding exit 🏆 . I'm still at the euphoria phase after getting my LC 100 back, especially with the Unichip and open cone air filter removed, so at times I push too much on the throttle worrying I don't have enough speed when in fact i have enough 😂 Great driving together, until next time, fellow LandCruiser 🫡
  12. first wait until you have confirmation Insurance will cover 100% of all repairs. Once confirmed, browse Facebook Marketplace, Telegram Buy & Sell Offroad Cars, etc.. you will see ads like 8,000dhs Cherokee, 10,000dhs PathFinder, 15,000dhs Jeeps. Buy it since you need a weekend car anyways, then sell it again when it's winter and once you get your Gladiator back 😊
  13. don't want to be a bad-news bearer, but it took Nissan 3 months to fix my Y62 after rollover, and that is with constant whats-app-ing the supervisor every week on the progress 🥲. Their reason was the roof had to be ordered from Japan and sent via sea as some parts cannot be air-shipped... but I'm not convinced 💁‍♂️
  14. @Looper don't forget to charge Insta360 +bring extra batteries and memory cards 😄 This will look epic on video 👍
  15. Steering gearbox or Steering Rack or Rack & Pinion is expensive. I'll copy-paste original Mopar parts in US$, it might be slightly cheaper in the UAE, but for American cars not so much price difference: 6. Steering gearbox: US$ 364 3. Main Battery $291 + Aux Battery $162 15. The gasket covers are cheap as they are gaskets, but the labour to replace them might go between 300-500 dirhams depending on garage:
  16. Actually best practice is to go to manual car wash after every last drive of the day (so if you drive both Saturday & Sunday you should wash the underbody Sat night & Sun night). I asked my mechanic why I had to replace 2 steering pumps within 6 months and 1 steering rack within a year and he said both parts were cemented with hard-dried-sand and told me I must have forgotten to wash the underchassis for a long time 😂
