    Thank you very much @Frederic @Asif Hussain @Gaurav for giving us the amazing opportunity to experience one of unique terrain. I totally agree we cannot compare Abu dhabi desert to Dubai and sharjah. Once you get into the dunes area you will be awe to see the massive dunes all around you and every other dune is a perfect playground. so you have to stop for a moment and decide which one to start with you can bash them from left to right to top to bottom or from center where ever you want.😅 Im counting days for the next trip. 🙏

    You have well thought clean setup @Ahab Shamaa. Thank you for the pics. BTW if below pic is 2 ton jack, where is it mounted in your trunk. i cant quite figure it out from this picture. Also how did you secure below big box in your trunk floor.

    Thank you @Frederic for posting this drive. Im very much exited to try my first venture into abu dhabi deserts. ir order to determine extra fuel requirement. how many kilometers do you think we would cover during this drive. Usually in my X i would get around 200+ km while off roading in dubai or sharjah drives.

    Thank you @Vanessa8580 for leading us through a challenging terrain today morning, Even though desert throwed us every possible challenge towards us, it was a piece of cake for the whole convoy with very good team spirit. at last we had very good long rage dunes for some sideys and action which was cherry on top of the cake. it was an eventful drive even before it start till the end. hope everyone had a very good experience, Cheers, See u all next time...

    What an amazing drive it was. It was equal to 3 drives on single day. We covered almost 60km without a stuck only few refusals. Thank you @Chaitanya D for your lead on maximum fun drive. @Gaurav Soni brilliantly handled his Pajero through out the drive. Initially @Probir Mukherjee was bit hesitant to push his V8 beast. But eventually he got the message and managed to climb bigred without any hesitation. Thank you all for your company. Hope to see u soon. Cheers

    Hi @Mohamed Seidam SInce Xterra is part time 4WD it locks the centerdiff as soon as we shift to 4WD-HI i have noticed couple of times tyre scraping noise and hard steering when driving on 4WD-HI on solid surface. (of course by mistake not my intention) Hence i assume this is because center diff is lock and not open diff. Also in Xterra offroad version got the rear diff lock. so it doesn't make sense to give a rear difflock without locking the center transfer case. This is my understanding about the Xterra, Please correct me if im wrong

    Thank you @Emmanuel for a wonderful drive. Dune formation in this area was exceptional. An ideal place to master the control of technical dunes. Also every other dune we pass through was an exceptional playground. However the only downside is the crowd and crazy drivers passing by without any hesitation for fellow offroaders. It was very fun drive. Hope to see u all again soon... Cheers.
