Looking great @Chaitanya D, honestly i have been checking with so many garages and the least i could get is 1100 aed. It would be great if you can let me know where i can get a similar plate.
Hi @Gaurav attached picture which is actually 10mm and quoting me 1100 including radiator bracket and installation. Is it worth it or something over priced.
Thank you @Chaitanya D @Emmanuel, @Asif Hussain the option you have mentioned is fantastic but I decided to go with kill switch as I am completely new for off roading and also in understanding cars. Will post the kill switch pictures shortly , it’s getting installed as we speak.
Hello @Frederic @Gaurav
This is my second ride with the group and but this time i am doing it with my own car which is xterra but it doesn't have option to turn of the traction. Mechanic said we need to install a kill switch. But my question is do i need to do that for newbie drives or can it wait.
Thanks,
Jana
thanks @Rahimdad @desertdude @RohanH @Chaitanya D @Fuad @Jas Gajaria . really appreciate your advice, it did make a difference while buying the car. I am still negotiating for that xterra which did 350K to bargain and get it little cheaper. May i know how much should i offer for this car. its 2009 S model and clean body . Well said that , i am not going a head with the buy still looking for options.
The car is running on its second engine , I did a test drive and it’s very smooth and did checked with help of a mechanic. Basically the run on the new engine is not more than 100k . Shifting and 2w , 4h and 4l engaging is fine.
Dear All,
After searching for almost 15 days, I didn’t find a good pathfinder but found a 2009 xterra but driven 370k. As per the inspection I could see the body and everything is good except the steering pump.
your view on this car and problem it has.
Cheers,
Jana
Indeed, it was a great drive. I really enjoyed it. I will try to join upcoming newbie drive with my own vehicle. I have been learning a lot as copilot, but the feel behind the wheels is awesome. I would like to thank everyone on this group.
Thanks @Srikumar . I have gone through the Absolute newbie video and i will make sure that i rerun again. Currently i am looking for a good 4x4 , until then i will be driving @Tbone's Hummer H3.
