  1. Hi All,

Fantastic drive today. Man of the match definitely goes to Rob who absolutely gave level 10 support to the crew well done mate!

I had loads of fun and my guest I hadn't seen in like 8 years absolutely loved the adventure it was his first time on the sand.

Islam I have to also say that what I love about your drives is the level of detail and explanation you give as we mustn't forget what we do is an extreme sport and one slip or bad decision could have serious consquences - your level of knowledge and expertise along with detail in your briefing is excellent.

Thanks for having me as your sweep and hopefully I'll have a chance to do the same again.

Have a great weekend and Ramadan Kareem to those that are observing.

    Thanks all,

    Imran & my guest Saddam,

BtW Finar your car is the T-2000 mate. Great fun watching you take no prisoners on the dunes haha

    • As the borders are open again, there is no need for a PCR.
    • Please park your car next to the dirt track so it won't be blocked off for other people.
    • Bring some firewood and warm clothes, and your tent of course :)
    • During times of fog, the speed limit in AD is automatically being reduced to 80km/h. If you install the Abu Dhabi Police App, you will get push notifications to warn you that the lower speed limit is active or not.

    In case needed you can contact me on 0 5 6 5 0 4 2 6 3 2

    See you tonight !

Mandatory rules for Liwa Crossing (exceptional) drive.

Considering its seriousness to keep you and your vehicle safe, these strict rules will be applied to all participants.

    • If you are newly promoted (1-2 drives), then select one level lower drive than your current off-road rank.
    • If you were away on a long break (more than 2 months), then select one level lower drive than your current off-road rank.
    • It is highly recommended to drive alone, as it's a very serious and demanding drive to stay focused at all times.
    • Maximum of one passenger allowed - No exceptions and trip lead will send you back.
      • Make sure that passenger has no fear of heights, motion sickness and have been to full-day off-road drives before.
      • As once we enter the desert, the only way out is from the other side, without any early exits for 100-150 kms.
    • Everything in your car should be strapped and secured - All vehicles will be checked by the trip lead.

Just wondering. Can you ratchet strap jerry cans to a stock fj roof rack or do you recommend the mount on the back for jerry cans,?

I have a 157 liter fuel tank but on a 4 hour drive a quarter is consumed so I have 15 hours worth of fuel. Was thinking about jerry cans option just in case

  5. Evening all, just wanted to say what an amazing amazing drive. I'm not just saying this but it was one of the best carnity drives I've been on and lucky enough to sweep on. Absolutely bloody brilliant!!!!!!! Thank you Hisham and team. The pure skill shown by all was proven by the minimal stop times. Can't wait for the next drive! Ps Hisham I'm going to order a new radio from Amazon let me know the brand please as I forgot to take a pic. Cheers all and have a great week. Imran
