  1. @Frederic how are you doing? I just noticed you are now driving a Patrol! Let’s plan a theme drive, Patrols only, maybe also request a Cafu tanker wait for us at the exit 😆 Welcome to the club of proud Y61 owners and shrinking wallets! Looking forward to tomorrow’s drive.
  2. Hi @Frederic yes it does, in a Y61 it connects to all these ECUs: BCM, Engine, ABS, TPMS and SRS. I just to check TPMS using the app "MotorData OBD", however I removed the TPMS sensors after installing Apex deflators but will get them back on with a special bracket sold by Apex too. Once back I will play with Torque app as you suggest.
  3. For some reason, not every OBD scanner reads all the Y61 sensors, for instance oil temp, transmission temp (in case of AT), fuel level, fuel pressure etc. I got this OBD ( https://www.amazon.ae/gp/product/B07JFRFJG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and use it with several apps I've found, but still I am in the look out for a Y61 friendly device In the meantime, I comfortably rely on gauges and lights on the dashboard. @imranaasghar81 - regarding your question about lights, check out Dragon Mart, there are a couple of stores where you will find interesting accessories, and lights among them. Hope this helps!
  4. @Frederic this is a fantastic overland themed drive, I dare to call it a signature one in case no other club would have thought or done it before Carnity. Attaining approvals from my MoI and her technical advisors will be as challenging as the drive itself. If I am not able to make it, I won't even dare reading the post drive reports as it will be without doubt an epic drive and will hurt knowing all that was missed. Fingers crossed!
  5. Thank you @Jaro Tuzinsky this picture and drone footage are amazing!
  6. Would regular tire rotation help in the maintenance of the five tires? What is your view?
  7. Job done! We took off to the sand, warmed up for a while and moved on to attack ridges, bowls and steep climbs, but the desert and terrains like Al Qua'a demand concentration and attention to details. We had a fair share of fun as well as learnings in this drive, and in my opinion it is a good combination to become better at this sport we all love in this community. @GauravSoni thank you, once again, for leading a great drive. The plan you devised to rescue the car from that bowl was executed to perfection, lessons learnt: discuss with the actors, take time to plan the route, proceed to a dry run and scout of the route itself, pay attention to details, and most of all keep a positive mind. I, for one, doubted as I had seen a somewhat similar situation back in YT'21 drive, but we did it! @Looper, @ASAD. , @munkybizness, @Zixuan Huang - Charlie, @Anoop Nair, always a pleasure to meet you all and looking forward to future drives! If we don't see each other in the next couple of weeks, I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy holidays and an exciting and blessed New Year 2023.
  8. @GauravSoni there must be a part 2 of this drive! Thanks for hosting a drive in Sweihan, overall we had a great drive, good pace, clean lines, challenges, and then there is the Nagra dune, which we enjoyed so much. @ASAD. and @Waqas Parvez thank you for your support throughout the drive. @Haitham Khattab @Imteeaz @Amr Aydin @Ashutosh Garg @Senthil Kumar @Anoop Nair @Zed, it was a pleasure driving with all of you! I've left some pictures in the gallery, hope you enjoy them! Have a great week and hope we meet soon.
