  1. Hey everyone! Really excited for this drive, I've got one tiny little problem though. I've got all the necessary newbie equipment (radio, air compressor, deflator, enthusiasm) except for a desert flag. I drive a 2006 LWB Pajero so I think I'd have to get something fabricated, right? (that's what an off-roading garage I called up told me)

Turns out most of them are closed for Eid so I don't have a way to mount a flag. Are there any alternative ways to securely attach the flag? I'm aware of the suction cups that you can stick onto your windows, and I guess that'll be my last resort if I can't figure something out. Thought I'd ask the experts before making a decision.

    Cheers!

  2. Well said @Srikumar! Sorry for the scare, but hey what’s a sport without a little extreme? I’m glad I was able to maneuver out of the situation. All thanks to Carnity’s briefing video and the instructions we were given during the drive’s briefing.

It was really well organized and everyone drove amazingly even though we were all relatively new to this.

    Looking forward to future drives!

Welcome @jerzen, the gear that you have should be sufficient for your first offroad adventure. Just ensure that you have tow points at the front and back, ofcourse Pajeros do have them, but better to be sure. See you tomorrow morning at 10 AM.

Thank you @Srikumar! I've double checked and yes, there are tow hooks at both the back and front. Also, aren't we meeting up at 5 AM? Not 10 AM?

  4. Hello! I'm really excited to be joining this drive. I'm completely new to off-roading, and I'll be bringing along a 2006 Pajero.

Edit: I’ve got myself a tire deflator, pressure gauge and portable compressor. Is there any other equipment I’ll be needing/will be good to have? This is my first ever drive, so I’d rather be safe (and prepared) than not 😅
