  1. checked mine and couldn't find any records either. I have had or rather the Mrs. had a minor one as well when she scratched the back door in a parking lot. Could be for major ones only i guess. but @Frederic great post, think vaibhav has come up with just the right word for you 😄
  2. @Zed you have inspirational spirit. But more than you, i want to salute your wife who still lets you drive 😅 See you and the LC soon InshAllah.
  3. Thanks for reminding me @Sunil Mathew, i forgot to mention both @Imran Kashif & @Haitham Khattab in my post. Absolute gems these two both on and off the wheel, thanks again guys. And just an update on the car, this morning went to the workshop. Looks like the fan clutch jammed and and at high speed, the fan just broke off. They will change the clutch and fan assembly. Thankfully it did not damage the radiator or any other major parts so hopefully the Prado will roar back again sooner than i thought it would 😄.
  4. Thanks @Srikumar for a wonderful day at Waqan. It was only around 1pm that we actually started the drive before which we weren't sure if we would be even getting a drive at all. So hats off to your leadership for still making it a memorable drive like you said the run was special is an understatement .That i managed to shred the radiator fan of a toyota is probably a testament 😂. Thankfully, the engine looks fine as i was still able to drive for short bursts. Also thanks for trusting me as your 2nd lead, i can assure you its not easy 😅. @Tom B @Waqas Parvez & @Rob S. cant thank you guys enough for helping me out with the tug, great teamwork as usual. To the rest of the gang, great driving. @Zed so glad to see you in high spirits as always. Look forward to seeing the LC2000 back in the sands soon. PS: Have some wonderful videos of the pajero bowl, will be sharing once i catch my breath 😄.
  5. If you search pajero bowl on google map there is a picture of that car im guessing 😂😂
  6. We attempted the first bowl successfully, now lets wait for Saturday 😂
  7. Pajero bowl or not ive cancelled all my appointments after 630 and alarms in place for 6:59. Gonna be staying back in office just incase, dont wanna take chances getting stuck in traffic 🙈😂😂
  8. what a wonderful report doc, im sure you guys had super fun. Too bad i couldnt join this time but pajero bowl will remain in the bucket list for sure.
  9. Very well deserved my friend and brother @Waqas Parvez. The skill and control comes natural to you, its a gift not many ppl posses easily. Not surprised at all to see you climb up the ladder so swiftly. I have personally learnt a lot from you so im sure others will do as well. Wish you more success.
  10. Congrats @Gaurav Soni, anyone who has driven with you knew it was only a matter of time. Well deserved.
  11. @Zixuan Huang - Charlie Get well soon, as far as the car is concerned im sure that fat lady will sing again. Until then take some rest & look forward to seeing the videos.
  12. This is on my bucket list as well. Lets see how the week pans out.
  13. Dude im not writing a feedback in any drive you are on 😂. Well done my friend.
  14. What a great day capped with a fantastic drive. Quaa is not for the fainthearted but we had our fair share of daredevils who took up the challenge. As the terrain throws up one challenge after the other more like a video game with boss levels, you are bound get some bruises on the way. We had to deal with pop-outs, refusals, stucks, broken bumpers and finally a recovery of an almost dead car. But the most important thing in the end that we were able to come out together as safely as we went in and for that a huge credit to our lead @GauravSoni. Thanks for trusting us and giving us confidence at times (during the recovery) when even we were doubting ourselves 😅. @Looper great SL and maintaining pace at the front thats so important @munkybizness @Anoop Nair wonderful driving on your first Quaa trip, the terrain tests your vehicle to the max so selecting the right gears and shifting them at the right time becomes all the more important but i could see that once got the hang of, sailing thru those tall dunes and bowls became much more easier and fun. @Zixuan Huang - Charlie i hope that horrid sound is not what we feared it would be and the car has no major issue. Good thing is we were able to bring it out from some steep climbs. @Mario Cornejo our designated sweep as usual, think @Carnity should make this your official designation now 😂. Was a wonderful experience doing the recovery & synchronizing the power of our cars. Thank you all for your energy, teamwork and chitchat. See you soon!
  15. Hi @GauravSoni will be leaving after work so will reach late. Would you pin the camping spot once you reach.
  16. Also will you be posting the camping spot? waking up at 3 in the morning and driving 3-4 hrs to quaa is not a prospect im looking forward to 😅
  17. @GauravSoni will we need the extra fuel? we didnt need it in the last one which was a full day drive?
  18. What a wonderful drive this morning @GauravSoni faced pace full of adrenaline, cant think of many who would make a pajero scream that much 😅. @Waqas Parvez thank you being the SL, had to be someone special to keep up with Gaurav's pace, fantastic job. @Mario Cornejo thank you for making sure the convoy remained intact. @Ashutosh Garg @Haitham Khattab @Amr Aydin @Imteeaz @Senthil Kumar @Anoop Nair @Zed great driving guys was an absolute pleasure, we had a near perfect drive until the very end when we had a couple of pop-outs. @Ashutosh Garg you did great especially for your first intermediate drive, im sure you will get used to the pace as you drive more at this level. @Zed good to see you back in the sands my friend. PS: @GauravSoni like mario said, we definitely need Part-2 of this series.
  19. Thanks again @Gaurav and @Frederic for organizing this training. @Gaurav u Cleared so many misconceptions for me personally and im sure for others as well. I had first hand experience of applying those learnings this morning when i got crested right from the centre horizontally, bt like u guys said shovel is the best friend and breaking the resistance always works. Good to see all the supports, was great fun learning, shoveling and joking together.
  20. @Ale Vallecchi @Hisham Masaad wish you guys a speedy recovery. @Brette hats off for accommodating the group on such a short notice.
  21. welcome to the big boys @Ashutosh Garg , you will get the chance to clear your car's lungs on this level 😃
  22. @varunmehndiratta dont worry, like mine your prayers will bring fruit one day 😂.
