  1. Will keep an eye on the temps, I have fitted an extra electric fan and installed a new hub fan, and will be upgrading the trans cooler shortly, I will bypass the transmission cooler In The radiator. I have also wrapped the headers and spaced the bonnet to help with temps at low speed. I was idling today for about 40 mins with a/c flat out and engine never got above 88deg. Before it would go above 98 very quick when idling. Intake temp was up to 75deg
  2. bravo echo has the “hard Korr” 9” rounds (2.4km range) above and 6” hella black magic below. Also has the 3.2 hella black magic piller lights I have the 3.2 hella pillar lights and the 40” hella light bar and the hella 6” value fit round lights on the front. All up about 2k but I installed my self. Also have the Hella black magic 6” flood light on the back, has a really good spread and not expensive
  3. Best value and performance I would go the Hella black magic, I have the 3.2 cubes and the 40’ light bar. Also have 3 6’ amber Hellas on the front. great performance and won’t fade after 3 months like the dragon mart specials there is also a new Australian brand called “Hard Korr” there is a dealer in Dubai. For 2.4km range they are awesome.
  4. Has any one upgraded their radiator to a alloy 3 core, the upper and lower caps on my radiator are showing signs of age and I am worried it might crack soon as we come into summer. has any one done this? Any leads on suppliers here in Dubai. thanks
  5. After the gearbox upshift was fixed I have been meaning to remove the Oman Hack, the switch was down near the park brake and I had knocked it once on the 311 @120 😳 car slammed back into 3rd and engine check light lit up. Don’t want that to happen again so finally got around to removing it today.
  6. No I got the guy from SpeedECU to do it (near JLT) completely changed the car.
  7. Sorry to miss this one, looks like a good run, please let me know if anyone has to drop out 👍
  8. I have been suffering from this problem, I had the Omani hack but did not like using it. just had my transmission reprogrammed to remove the upshift and had the rev limit/fuel cut reprogrammed as well……….completely different car to drive. I would recommend anyone who has one of these generation Pajero to get this done before anything else.
  9. Just be careful when blowing the filter out with compressed air, the filter material is easily damaged and will allow larger particles through. @Frederic advice to give it a gentle tap to remove the majority of the sand is perfect. If it needs anymore best to replace the filter, cheep insurance. p.s, of the three guys I know who have blown Pajero engines in dubai, two where from sand and both had cold air intakes fitted. The third was the screws from the intake butterfly’s falling in to engine.
