  1. Here is @JeromeFJ jumping https://photos.app.goo.gl/PzGLb2W8MVazsNCh9
  2. Thanks for the fun drive. A new path for fayah for me.. loved the smooth flowing lines that you picked @Asif Hussain. The epic battle of man vs machine played out on @Shaun J tyre puncture, with us taking quite a while to find the right tool for the job. @Zed left half of his bumper as on the sand as an offering to the desert,.. which unfortunately wasn't enough to stop the desert djins claiming a micro popout on @Andrew John Melvill and a big popouts for @DP1011. Saw some nice black camels on white sand. Once I get some videos off the camera I'll drop a link here Great driving by everyone on dl very soft sand, thanks for the fun day!
  3. Thanks for a fantastic drive @JeromeFJ to start the winter season! Everyone had gathered and deflated and ready for briefing as @Gaurav Soni joined from the desert to join us. We headed south west through some of the smaller dunes as a warm up before @Luke K P managed to get crested around 7:05. A quick tug from the carnity support team 20 minutes later we were passing the remains of the burnt out car (FJ?) We stopped and took turns doing some nice bowls before a sideways stuck of a slope gave @Emanuela baptism by fire for his first support gig. Great work to everyone getting the car out! All in all we had some great dune and bowl riding, and got out safely and on time! We covered 36 km in 4 hours with a lot of fun! See you all next time and enjoy your weekend.
  4. It's the Shake down test after 81 days of repairs 😭😭😭 @Emanuel
  5. I'm yet to get a proper alignment from an off-road shop I visited laser alignment and tyre centre and they got it setup properly on the machine and got it corrected where 3 other shops had failed.
  6. A couple of bash plates is all you will require for light offroading and camping... recommend keeping as many stock parts as possible as @Gaurav mentioned. and if getting 3rd party parts.. find the official distributor in UAE and use them only. You will get genuine parts and not need to buy them twice (along with other repairs when the replicas break down) You can go a long way in the rank/levels of carnity off-roading club with your standard relatively unmodified SWB pajero. it will do the job just fine!
  7. Hi, yes you will need a mount to hold the pole. Recommend avoiding the suction cup ones, even the 3 way suction cups will come loose over rough terrain... https://www.instagram.com/p/C78q-sTSbii/ There is a couple of metal options from AOR, and on amazon too.
  8. Bronze wheels best wheels @Marek 🤟😎
  9. i've go not advice on the tent, but if you planning on putting anything over 40kg mounted up on top of the tub (tents, hard canopies etc) you will need to get and install some J Braces to avoid damage when off-roading, and not voiding the warranty Ford offer some, however Al Tayer / Premier dont seem to be able to order. Best bet is aftermarket from Australia (ARB makes them) or Thailand. Seems crazy this wasnt fitted at the factory.
