  1. @FredericYour drives honestly inspire me to sign up for more Fewbie drives so I can eventually join one of your FB Plus runs! 😄 Driving + camping is exactly my kind of thing — right in my sweet spot. Can’t wait to work my way up and be part of it! 🚙🏕️ Inshallah, will be joining one of these FB+ drives soon 🫡
  2. @Sviatoslav Those are some INCREDIBLE Pictures!! So nice to see all these high-red in-the-action pictures, makes you really relive the moments.
  3. An awesome old post ! Should have a list of must-read topics for all newbies like myself. Great work @Frederic
  4. Thanks @Ishak for a very nice drive on an afternoon. It was a plesanr surprise to see a Fewbie drive in Dubai (really didnt wanna drive all the way to Abu dhabi on the weekend 🤫) The fun began right away when we stopped to meet Gaurav's convoy in the middle of the desert. Was great to see some old familiar faces there. The fun continued as Ishak continued taking every Ridge he could find on the way. Especially the really long one where we practised riding 3 times! Repeating the same ridge thrice really helps with building the confidence! Had minimal stucks and refusals, so the pace was nice and flowy. Was also fun helping @khurramm and @Ishak sort out their cars on the crests.
  5. @Ishak Hi, there is a problem. In my last drive on Wednesday in Abu dhabi, I had a pop-out on my beadlock tyre which I went to fix today afternoon and it turned out 3 of my 4 tyres have micro cracks from frequent inflation/deflation which are also leaking air. I have to change all my tyres tomorrow before I can drive in the sand again. I am scheduled to go to the tyre shop again tomorrow morning, but I am not absolutely sure if I can get all the work done in time to reach for the drive. I think it is best you have assign somebody else the SL role, just incase I am not able to make it in time. I shall update hre tomorrow 12PM if I am be able to come in time or not.
  6. Hi guys! 👋 Huge thanks to everyone for jumping in and helping with the tyre situation. Finding out the spare was also a bust was… let’s say humbling 😅 — but you legends still went the extra mile, changed it again, and somehow made it work just enough to get me home. It took about 2.5 hours to crawl back, with air refills every 10 minutes, but mission accomplished: home safe and sound 💪 Honestly, the way everyone came together really shows the kind of stand-up crew we have at Carnity. Hands down, the best off-roading group in the UAE. @Luke K P — those lines were 🔥 man! Riding those ridges was pure fun. @ChrisW @Sam Selim @Hani crest king — massive thanks for the support. The calm, composed way you guys handle stressful situations is something to admire (and learn from!). Looking forward to many more drives soon… once everything is properly fixed 😄🚙
  7. @Emanuel Thanks for a great drive. I really liked the lessons and the practise you made us do. It really helps fine-tune the techniques for us. Looking forward to the next drive!
  8. @emanuel Had to stopover to investigate a car noise. On the way now, might be 5 mins late
  9. @Ale Vallecchi Hi, just noticed my Pajero exhaust is hanging off the bracket and making noise from scraping on the road bumps. Turning towards the garage to get it mounted back up, don't think I will make it in time. Hope you guys have a good one today!
  10. @Ishak Hi, had to drive through some water today and the car is not sounding as normal anymore. It is working but hearing tucktucktuck noise when turning the steering left/right. Might be better to just get it checked tomorrow at the Garage so as to not cause any further damage. Sorry will need to back out.
  11. @DP1011 Not feeling well, will have to skip this one. Hope you guys have a nice and safe drive.
  12. @EmanuelAnother great drive! It was quite technical for me at the start, but I picked up a few new things today. Thanks for your guidance and teachings — always appreciated. Looking forward to another drive next week! Some of the recoveries were really interesting to watch, and seeing the gazelles was definitely an added bonus. @J-P L Was great chatting with you! Awesome driving in the Jimny as always 😄
  13. @Frederic Thank you !! The slots get filled-up so fast, if you blink you miss (for real).
  14. @Frederic rsvp closed yet? Please confirm if okay. Couldn't get spot in Seidam's tomorrow drive. Will be nice to come out at least once this week 🤞
  15. @Davie Smooth_Operator Hi bro, I won’t be able to join today — I’m down with the flu, and the kids are sick as well. I just wanted to say that I truly admire your spirit and your willingness to teach others. You’ve been a huge help to Newbies like me, and you’ve really helped me push past my fears. I’m genuinely grateful for that. Wishing you all the success in everything you do, bro. May God bless you and your family with good health, happiness, and prosperity always! Take care brother!
  16. Thanks @Frederic Again for an excellent drive man! The dunes looked small, but they were very technical. Learned a few good things today with the technicalities. The landscape was so beautiful and everyone was in great spirits which made the drive a very enjoyable experience for all. Was fun to stumble upon left-away cars in the desert and always nice chatting with fellow members! 😀 Look forward to the next adventures.
  17. Thanks @Frederic for an fantastic drive today! The family loved it, I loved it, and everyone enjoyed it! Looking forward to more such adventures if possible 🫡
  18. Congrats @M.Seidam Truly well-deserved promotion. You are an asset for Carnity and Newbies like me! 🫡
  19. @Frederic Hi, just wanted to check if it is okay to bring small children along? Are we expecting to drive on some very technical dunes?
  20. @Luke K P Thanks Luke for a great drive! It was technical at times, but enjoy every bit of the challenge. Son loved the dunes! Spent some quality time Thanks and I will catch you again some time in the dunes!
