  1. Got the new ropes today...ready for the battle of ropes and shovel. @LooperI will bring a shovel and also a spoon which I bought for my first drive just incase....😂. Looking forward to the battle and hope we win the war in the end..I understand we have the best front line warriors looking after us @Benjamin @DP1011 @Kailas really appreciate taking the responsibility of the long convoy and adding us to the drive...
  2. @DP1011sorry it not a push back...I meant a push back from behind to keep me going forward....
  3. @DP1011 that's again a push back. Thank you for your advice l. Let me try to identify what's best for my car in the next drive.. I been trying to push in road even to keep the Rev up and aggressive and tell the ecu you are made to offroad and even in road you keep it high and when i push down the gas pedal you just go...last time I felt like my engine was not responding as before... Hope good days ahead in desert driving..
  4. @Looper last time I started at 12. May be the guage was not accurate the michelin digital one. I got arb manual one now. Let me start at 12 and see.. thanks for the advice just cross checking..one of my friend tell me that as the bfg have side wall strength may be 10 is better and I remember you told me you start at 10..
  5. @Looper i will take a newbie drive as you know on next Saturday. What's the recommended tyre pressure for bfg ko2. I don't have beed lock and the weight of the car is 2 ton. I understand that you put 10 and just forget about it all through the drive but I guess you have beed lock right? Just let me know. Sorry for so many questions...
  6. @Looper, I will take a newbie drive the day before with Gaurav to be more comfortable with the new tyres etc...you know very well from our previous discussions..if everything goes well consider adding me on this drive...I understand super soft and Technical like my first fewbie drive which lasted from 5:30 to 12:30 near the solar park...and I assure you I will not miss this one....
  7. Thank you for the advice, yes I will take it slow and let the car and myself learn the new ride dynamics...thank you again and see you soon...
  8. @Looper sorry... i wanted to join there was a party i need to attend also..but I wa determined to make this drive but the drive on Saturday changed my mind...i was so pushed up and can perform well after the tyre change...but unfortunately it was opposite.. i got ready with bfg ko2 with 12 psi...the first part was good...then i started having trouble..I checked my tyre pressure and one was 18 others were 13..I brought down to 12 the again I started having troubles and they were check the pressure with my guage looked okay but it was actually 15 psi...I had a struggle in yesterday's drive and I was thinking all these while it went well and what happened with after my changing my tyres...Hisham was shouting push push...I was pushing but no response from the engine or tyre...I got so disappointed and that is the reason I left the drive with you... I want an opinion from you any of your experts....I got a bfg ko2 as my tyre now..I have montero sport 3lt v6...what do think it's suitable?? Can manage? Or was it a bad decision...Mr. Hisham told me already it was kind of bad...but I would like your guys opinion because this is the first time I performed so bad and beating myself in my mind.. The reason I went with my friends advice is it performs good and I go to wadi a lot and the side walls of bfg will help me a lot. And he's said also for sand like it will float in the desert but unfortunately I don't fell it today... Appreciate your feedback?? Any carnity members please??
  9. Let's hope I won't be the disappointing one ...😄 but short experience with carnity...you can guys are more supportive than we could as newbies can imagine and big salute to that....
  10. @DP1011 jeep is a no no for me...I think they are just exploting the trail rating...mh experience with just few drives with jeep is the best..but with no comfort for the family and also the driver...I took a big risk by going with montero sport...let see how long it can take me...let's push it...😅😅😅may be we can tell one day to the newbies I survived....
  11. True..as a mechanical engineer I understand...but overall if we look it's just a slight loss of power ..my wife told me today it seems the engine is Rev up a little more than the previous...we have to trust them for sure...and next time in the desert I will Rev it up more to compensate and hope it will do...my intention to stay alfloat like the jeep guys and take forward the desert driving....
  12. Thank you for your reply. @Looper.gave some good confidence.. looking forward to see the difference in my next drive.
  13. @DP1011Wow...that's a relief...I just want to stay alfoat like you guys...all my previous rides I used to see the jeep guys stay float like as it's highway in the desert for them amd I was so jealous...I didn't take a ride last week and we went to wadi and damaged my stock tyres and I was like done let's gets the best available... you're the one who introduced me to this club and i am gratefull....
  14. @DP1011 did I waste my money?? Will it not help?? I am sorry but i am just new and dont know the technical details much...hope you can calrify..
  15. @Looper just for the information I changed my stock tyres to bfgoodrich ko2. So i guess i can stay afloat a little better and not break the flow of the dance..all of you are with jeep and me with montero sport I will try to keep up and not to loose the nice momentum....
  16. @Looper That description about the ride is perfect. I added myself in the waitlist, hope you can let me join this gentle and harmonious dance in the desert.
  17. My first weekend drive miss after joining carnity... @Davie Chase sorry for not joining..was very tired from the business trip...hope you all had fun..was going through the pics just to have glimpse on what happened.. will not miss the next one for sure..I was thinking rejuvenate better by taking rest..but realize now that the drive would have rejuvenated me better than sleep....
  18. I couldn't ask for more on my first fewbie drive...that was pure cocktail(still hungover). Seen, been and learned a lot from so many tricky situations, stucks, refusal... @Frederic @Davie Chase thanks for leading us. We salute your efforts.. Thanks everyone for the support, looking forward for the next adventure.. see you all in sand soon...
  19. Thank you all for your wishes and support..I had refusals, stucks, silly flag issues, winch recovery and last time a tyre pop out, it taught me many things... I was actually surprised to see the calmness, patience and the support of the team. I am loving this new found sport it is very thrilling and happy I found the right team to learn and grow. Hope I get this support( I am sure of it) in my forward journey and contribute to the community the same way as I recieve it... Looking forward to push myself and my car (he is the one I should thank more for taking all the hit and keep me going forward) to the next level.
  20. @Vishnu Ramankutty I can send you the pictures of the damages at different stages if you send me whatsapp on 0501002814 so you will get an understanding on what might happen...
  21. @Vishnu RamankuttyI saw the damage on your car it was a small but definitely it will go high.. i had skirts on the bumbers which look very good but @Frederic@Vanessa8580 they told me desert is gonna take it on my first drive and ofcorse it happened. And on the second night drive I lost the stock bumbers also..I would suggest doing some trimming if you are serious and want to go forward to the next levels from my experience with just 4 drives now...the thing is that if you don't do trimmings now you may loose the entire bumper. I am lucky I made the decision to trim and only has a small tear on the stock bumber...
  22. @Frederic @Hisham Masaad @DP1011 @Imteeaz @Anish Sthank you very much for your guidance and support...the drive was great....and sorry for the flag again. I will find a solution before the next ride...looking forward for the next one...
