Hi @GauravSoni I was searching the topics here on the Unichip and gear hold issue for the Pajeros. I have a 2009 LWB 3.8L engine, pretty happy with it until it comes to climbing hills or soft sand ridge riding then i feel the weight overcomes the power specially when i hit a soft patch and the RPM goes beyond the 5000+ and the gear shifts to 2nd. Can you share some details around the Unichip and if it's really safe to do it? also there's a lot of people online claim they can do it but is there a reliable place that can do it correctly? Thanks for the help.

Hi @Frederic, it seems I may have an issue with the solenoid switch, my 4x4 is showing an error I will get it checked tomorrow so unfortunately I won’t be able to join the drive. Sorry for the short notice but it just happened couple of hours ago.

Hi all, I have a 2009 Pajero which comes with stock 265/60/R18. It’s time to change my tires and I want to go for A/T. There is a chance that I get used stock R17 pajero tires, which i’d assume will allow me to go for a 265/65/R17 tires. Any recommendation whether to stay with the stock rims or downsize to 17”? And if I get the 17” what is the max tire size for better grip without modification? The car suspension is stock so no lift. thanks

@DP1011 I’m so sorry for missing this, i made the classic mistake to set the alarm on 4.30 PM instead of AM. i was really looking forward to this drive.
