My regards to all, I have 2009 FX50 since two weeks i start facing problems with overheating. All issues starts when i replaced AC compressor which after replacement AC returns cooling perfect. but suddenly air recyclation was always switched off alone and bad smell comes inside the cabin. I went back to mechanic and he canceled the water heater line which goes inside cabin through front dashboard. Eventhough AC bad smell was gone because of this modification but i noticed the heating gauge was little bit raised up and keep satable . Two days later the car get overheating and i went again to mechanic he found the second fan not working and i replaced it . Now there is no risky overheating, but car not like one month earlier, its simply becomes crazy and still mechanic tell me everything is fine but am sure its not. Now the temperature gauge is raising little bit up if i stop on signal or stuck in traffic, by raising up the rpm raised to 900 instead of 700 , i hear upnormal noises similar to grinding noises , i feel this rough noise when i put my hand on gear stick and the overall temperature in engine compartment is higher than what i used to feel earlier, as a confirmation to this the wheather temperature display on dashboard increases 4-5 c° while stopping car for 1 min. Meanwhile when i run with car at speed 100km/h for 1 min everything returns fine , no noise , temperature gauge returned to original position, temperature display in dashboard decreases to normal wheather temperature . Can anyone help me on this? If i returned the water heater connection is it going to resolve or affect my problems?

car info: 2006 w211 E350 japan spec with 77k km radiator tank had a leak and have splashed small amount of water into the engine bay.. tank got emptied in a week and got check coolant level error message... changed the tank! in a week i got the error message again but this time it was half there cuz only the cap was bad (because it was used)... replaced it with the org problem: I noticed a small tick tick noise when the car was running 2 days ago i didn't really cared. Today all of a sudden it is really audible and no need to mention, its irritating and annoying along with the sbc humming... the sound cant be heard when making right turns, decelerating or braking to take exits from the highway, and on highways with speed above 90kmph. the speed of the tick-tick sound increases with the car's speed. heres the video at idle and running at city traffic. what is the cause and possible fix!? it sounds expensive to me...

Calling all experts An year ago, futtaim diagnosed that my steering rack is faulty. I took it to my local garage and he seconded futtaim's opinion. So how it started? One chilling morning of 2015, I feel a bit of vibration in the accelerator pedal after much notice I realised that it is only when I turn steering at a specific point (let's say from middle to 30 degree right). This was ignored then the vibration became humming noise and then a squeak but only at a specific point. Journey from vibration to hum to squeak was over 3 months or so. Later I got the steering rack replaced as suggested by the futtaim even though my mechanic was saying that local lathe (khirad) / machining would to the job. Same stuff is happening again just after 12 months of replacing the whole steering rack (OEM). It only hums now when cold after 10 kms it is fine I dont feel anything. Any suggestions what is causing it as I feel that may be we did not address the right problem? My car: Toyota Prado 2010 4.0L TXL

Hi, When off roading with my FJ 2014 on H4 sometimes I get a noise from the engine and a light flashes on the main panel for a few seconds. It happens normally when in soft sand. The sound last for a few seconds also, but it sounds terrible! Is that the TRC? What would you recommend? Thanks
