Good morning @Jessica Arro, Welcome to Carnity club. I see you completed the onboarding process, thank you for that. I am looking forward to meet you on Sunday ! Good morning to everyone else too off course. We will have a lady that will join our convoy, her name is Radhika, she is a yoga instructor and family of our beloved Gaurav. She will give a small yoga session in the middle of the drive and perhaps after if the weather is not too hot for anyone that wants to participate. Please bring a mat or towel with you if you want to join. Also remember to wear pink and if you want you can decorate your car too .... Looking forward to see you all on Sunday ! -

I am trying to understand the 2022 Silverado 2500HD L5P properly before ordering anything because the more I read the more it seems that “fits L5P” is not specific enough. What started this was looking at a few different upgrades and noticing that the year ranges do not always match. CAN hardware can be split between the earlier 2017 to 2019 trucks and the later 2020 to 2022 setup while downpipes CCV components EGR hardware and exhaust pieces can each have their own fitment range. I was comparing some aftermarket parts for 6.6L Duramax L5P and it made me realize how easy it would be to order something that physically looks right but does not actually match the truck. My main concern is knowing what should be verified first. For the exhaust side should I be concentrating on pickup versus cab and chassis configuration. Cab and bed length. Downpipe routing. Sensor locations and hanger positions? For the electronic side how important are the CAN connector and module differences on the 2020 to 2022 trucks compared with the earlier L5P? I am also curious about the CCV side because later trucks seem to have different clearance considerations around the intake and charge piping. Would you guys check everything using the VIN and build date first or is the individual component fitment chart usually enough? I also do not want to create another problem by changing one system without checking everything around it. For example a poorly fitting exhaust component could create a leak. Incorrect CCV routing could create oil or clearance issues. Wrong electrical hardware could potentially leave you chasing communication faults instead of a mechanical problem. For those who have actually worked across several L5P model years what is the one compatibility issue that people overlook most often? CAN hardware? Exhaust routing? Sensor locations? CCV clearance? Pickup versus cab and chassis? If you were ordering parts for a 2022 L5P today what would you verify before spending any money?

Hi all, @Lazy Frog, @Yerem Davtyan, @W a q a r, @khurramm & @Rasna Thank you for signing up on this drive and apologies on behalf of team Carnity for the system downtime earlier this week! Special thanks to @_luke_, @Asif Hussain & @Frederic for working hard to get this fixed and creating a temporary platform to get us all back together on the sand! @Jerzi, I noticed that you added your name on tonight's drive with "Fayah AD Coffee Club" under your name, also saw you're on Luke's drives tomorrow. For the convoy order purpose, I just wanted to double check you're planning to join my drive tonight? I will be posting the convoy order later this afternoon and look forward to seeing you all! -
