Jeh
I have a 1999 Range Rover. Currently even if all my doors are properly closed it still shows an LH-F Door open message. Anyone faced similar problem? According to someone the door lock needs to be replaced. Any suggestions besides that option?
ethan
Well lock can be one of the issue, but before that it's worth checking all fuses and see if any fuse is blown out. Under the steering and under the front passenger seat there are two set of fuse boxes. Read the fuse location on the cover inside and see if any fuse is assigned for doors and check if its blown or not. If you don't know how to see blown fuse, you can swap similar color fuse from neighboring pocket and test it. Remember to swap it back if experiment is successful or not. erfankr
Interesting, What leads to damage in the fuses? They become fragile as they reahc certain age? Or maybe it's a mechanical damage?
Mach3
Did you check the locks thoroughly? Maybe there is something stuck in that area and tricks the sensors or maybe your sensors are malfunctioning.
Jeh
It was a faulty lock, had to change the whole mechanism. Costed 650Dhs at national _ Shj . It is advisable to change it since if it stops working all the doors might get locked or unlocked.

Jeh
650 for one door lock...... Is it made of gold....? Nope.. Plastic Metal and Rubber. They stopped making gold spare parts for automobiles after the Egyptian era. Roughly around the Twenty-Sixth Dynasty, also known as the Saite Period, lasted from 672 BC to 525 BC.
