topgear
A spade, is a spade 😁 but I am sure there are lots of variables in terms foldable/non-foldable, weight, material, size etc For off-roading use only, what should I get and where can I get one? I guess, it should not be too heavy since it will only be used on loose sand and not wet and compact soil. What is the price range? Suggestions to buy them? sertac
If you are close to DIP. I got it from below location. Only 15 AED it was.Get the one with handle at the back side it will be easier to use at sand. https://goo.gl/maps/DVqXr8D8PRrDjXfA7

You should get a full-size (not foldable) proper laborer shovel with a handle on top, and a v-shaped tip. Available in most hardware shops (Speedex, Ace, or general hardware shops). Make sure it's long enough so you can reach far enough underneath the vehicle. (the one on the right is PERFECT). 2 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further." topgear
Luckily I asked, otherwise, I would have gone for a foldable for ease of storage. 😆

Trust me that you will go and buy a proper shovel the same day 😁 2 6 1 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further." topgear
I will get a full sized shovel as the risk of me getting stuck is quite high😅 It is a blasphemy though that foldable spoon is for sale all over the place. When I googled spade/shovel offroad on Amazon, I get quite a few foldables. 1
