Possibly the most boring advice topic ever: Gloves for off-roading β€‹πŸ˜„β€‹

Recommended Posts

Tired of touching hot things and the sand with the low quality cotton gloves that came with my tow rope.

What are peoples best suggestion for something readily available which does the job well of protecting from heat but still has decent finger articulation.

(Not for wearing while driving, just for messing with the car and doing recoveries.)

Looking cool whilst wearing them is a bonus but not a requirement 😁

Easy, just head over to any hardware store and get some of these nitril gloves:

Milwaukee 48-22-8904 Pair Cut Level 1 Dipped Word Gloves - 2X-Large 2x

They exist in so many brands and models / sizes.Β

My VOTE Goes to this one - Very solid quality !Β

Thanks @GauravΒ @DP1011

this might be a bit better for protecting the back of hand when shovelling etc from the looks of it.

I find Warn (edit: correction not ARB) gloves better suited for handling winch ropes, but they could be little difficult to use in other cases. I recommend checking out Speedex / ACE for mechanics gloves from brands like Milwaukee, Dewalt etc. I have a pair of these too as well as the types of Fred recommended.

I use none. I have them all.

@PETELCZYC PAJERO - luke The ARB orange ones are good especially if you get them during the offers seasons (Adihex, Black Friday, End of Year, Ramadan) and available locally by visiting shops so you can try them.

But Black is Cooler, I got the Warn Winch Gloves below 😊

Just search on Amazon for "WARNΒ Winching Gloves"
