Morning Fewbie Desert Drive - Try yourself and Enlist to DCT - Dubai - 29 Oct 2023

DRIVE PLAN

This is a regular Fewbie drive but you will get the flavours of what to expect in DCT. Hence it is an open invitation to all who are interested in DCT but not yet joined any teams. Join with me on 29^th Sunday morning to try it your self and decide.

We will start the drive from faqa and going through some checkpoints between long range dunes. Then will do a Bajarun through subka to reach technical dunes south of solar park and high dunes in little sweihan as well. I consider this as challenge against terrain over time. Im expecting around 100km to be covered by the time we exit from the drive.  Im sure this will be different experience compared to regular FB drive. so be prepared to accept all the challenges you can think of and be ready to be a team player.  

I will post more details about the drive in due course.

At the end of the drive if you find you self up for real challenge then you are most welcome to join my team.

DRIVE DETAILS

• Level:  Fewbie and Above
• When: 29 October  2023, Sunday
• Meeting time:  6AM - Deflated and Ready to go 
• Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/GdiVHxTC2o31FBAW6 
• Approximate finish time: 10AM
• Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.
• What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

MANDATORY OFF-ROAD GEAR:

• Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge
• Compressor
• Walkie-talkie radio
• Off-road flag
• Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles
• First-aid kit
• Fire extinguisher

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

Kindly confirm your participation for the drive and as mentioned above please instal Gaia gps on your mobile as well. you do not have to purchase gaia subscription, Gaia free version is enough for recording tracks. 

Tomorrow i will send some checkpoints to be saved in maps so we can have a trial run and see how everyone GPS recording works. if you have any doubts you can.
