Pajero V8 makes noise

pajero V8, 2017, 132K mileage. why on steep.reverse makes 'tuk' noise, maybe from gear box. The car is run carefully and majority of service from the dealer. Can anyone adisenplz

go back to the dealer and show them... it's their responsibility to check all the suspension components.

Also, V6 - there were (sadly) no V8 pajeros.

Sounds like on of the rear cv axles

Hi @Khan2024, 

from what you have discribed this noise could be caused by one of the following :

1. as @Frederic mentioned Rear Cv Axel (but the noise needs to be consistent )

2. Rear Propeller shaft ( if the noise is happening while in 2wd and in 4WD )

3. One of your rear wheels Hubs Bearings are a bit loose and needs to be tighten up . You will hear the noise when shifting from D to R and from R to D but the noise will disappear after moving .
