Is Carnity primarily Abudhabi based?

Hey guys,

I am an offroad enthusiast with some experience. I have done about 20+ drives and continue to do drives with another group.

But wanted to join a super-organized group.  When I came across Carnity, I was super excited.

The group is super active and vibrant. But then I wanted to experience it so joined two weeks back and was late for that week newbie drive.

Then last week was your club event so did not want to start. Today I see that the drives schedule for next week is posted but all in Abudhabi. 

Only Advance drive is posted for Sharjah. I stay in Dubai. 

Will there be regular drives posted for Dubai/Sharjah guys of all levels or only certain types of drives are posted and rest of it is only in Abudhabi?

It will help me decide if I can convert as a permanent member or its not for me.....

There is usually carnity drives posted all around abu dhabi, dubai and sharjah on a regular basis. My maps of drives is lines of colour all around dubai and abu dhabi. Being posted all around AD except for one this week is likely a fluke

Hi, @Giri_4x4 drives are generally spread between Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah randomly (without any fixed order) as these drives are posted voluntarily by the leads based on their choices of level and areas of interest.

Having said that, I do understand sometimes it feels no drive in Dubai (like this week) and few weeks it becomes a majority of drives are in Dubai.

All weekend drives are generally posted on Monday at 7 PM, so if there is no Dubai Drive drive posted today, I'm afraid you have to wait for next weekend unless you like to join the Abu Dhabi drive, which is equally exciting.

Dubai used to be the place to be for off-roading, but the amount of vegetation in the whole Marmoom area (Qudra) has severely limited the free available areas for off-roading. Hence that’s why we do more drives now in Abu Dhabi (close to the Dubai border), Sharjah, and the scenic drives are all over the country.

if you look at the map, these "Abu dhabi" drives are actually closer to Dubai than to Abu Dhabi, as it is usually Sweihan, Al Ain farms area, Faqa etc. And these are the best areas to learn (unless you like churn and cross-tracked badayer areas that are usually packed with turists).
