 It was a good opportunity for the newer members to see the camaraderie and the true spirit of this club.

Couldn’t agree more @Mike M. , really enjoyed today so thank you @Frederic for the great lead, and as Mike mentioned it was one of those drives today where everyone was involved working together with great team spirit! My favourite type of drive

That was indeed a great morning out! With the help of @Mark Band @Mike M. to keep the flow throughout the drive, we managed to cover quite some ground. The original plan was to exit a bit further south, but as time was moving quickly i decided to head straight to the exit.

All of you drove extremely well today. I just hope the 5 door Jimney we came across made it up that hill eventually 🤣

Fantastic second lead and help by @J-P L as well. It's always re-assuring that i have you behind me to polish my tracks, and the result showed in the minimal issues.

After inflation, we were approached by a driver who got his delivery truck stuck on a dirt track across the road. @Mark Band @Myrko decided to deflate again and help out, and we headed onto the dirt track to go and have a look. The driver was determined that he wanted to go further straight, but Mark towed him a few meters backwards (which made the most sense) and got him out with the winch. Thanks guys for the help and for deflating again. I was too lazy to inflate with the compressor for the second time so drove down to the nearest ADNOC

Yeah he was a little stubborn but he did give up and came back out of the track when we were re inflating again! Even gave me a bottle of water as a thank you haha 

but all in all it was a really nice drive thanks again Fred

Also for the entertainment after the drive, I was convinced he would have another go at it and come back when we reinflated. However faith in humanity was restored just that tiny bit when he came out and drove off after giving @Mark B the bottle of water!

Also, as I was crested yesterday, the Defender came up with something I had not noticed before: Extended Mode... Did some checking and apparently, in certain conditions, the air suspension enters into that mode automatically. When it is in that setting, one can raise the vehicle higher than the regular Off Road height, by pressing /holding the brake and the up button for more than 3 seconds. Unfortunately one can not get this setting manually, but the car does seem to notice when it finds itself stuck, crested or in deep water.

That little tidbit would've been helpful to know a couple of months ago, but better late then never, I guess 😅

Just a big thank you to @Frederic, @Mark B, @Mike M., it was a really beautiful drive and there was a lot to learn again.  Good atmosphere (thanks to all for that!) and helping hands throughout the group, and special thanks to @J-P L for his kind explanations to Paula.  She is really enjoying the drives, learning and feeling part of an adventurous group.
