DRIVE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Carnity off road club Fewbie drive, meeting at Fayah meeting point of the beautiful Abu Dhabi Desert, we will start off in the daylight and progress through sunset and into the black of the night. Superb drive for first timers that have yet to drive at night in the desert. please ensure your off-road gear is as per your rank and you bring lots of enthusiasm with you.

MUST READ AND COMPLY

DRIVE DETAILS

Level:  Fewbie and above

Meeting time: 17:15 PM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Meeting Point:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/acreM77zLxB2MRu76

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Mandatory off-road gears: Fewbie and above, Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, Intermediate and above, Kinetic Tow Rope and 2 soft Shackles.

Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear.

 Approximate finish time: 20:45 PM

P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

  • This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 12:00 Noon.
  • If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
  • RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
  • Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
  • Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
  • Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
  • Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

Dear Desert Wanderers @Glenn W, @Jason M, @Steve Farmer, @Krinesh, @Wayne Momsen, @khurramm, @ChrisW, @Zsolt, @Myrko, @Paul Eldho, @Sam Selim, and @Mark B, we will be using Ch4 446.081 for our adventures tomorrow evening. The plan is to start off in the daylight drive through the twilight into the darkness of the night. ideal for those that have never driven in the desert at night as it is a different experience.

This is 17:15 to around 20:45 time frame drive so please make sure you have snacks and drinks with you, we will be stopping for a break in order to re-fuel our bodies :)

If your plans have changed please remove your RSVP so we can rearrange the convoy at the earliest opportunity.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow the convoy order will be as below
