Morning Fewbie Desert Drive - Lisaili to Murquab - Dubai - 08 Nov 2025

We’ll kick off our Fewbie-level adventure from a northern entry point in Lisali, accessed via the camel track, before heading south and east through a dynamic mix of terrain. The route will feature technical patches and medium-sized dunes ideal for practicing side sloping and ridge riding, offering a balanced challenge for developing drivers. Midway, we’ll pause on a scenic sabkha for a well-earned break and regroup. The second leg of the drive will take us toward Murquab, where we’ll enjoy thrilling sweeping climbs and panoramic views atop some of the area’s most inviting dunes. We’ll wrap up by following a sand track leading to our exit point along the E66 highway, ensuring a smooth and satisfying conclusion to the drive.

Level:  Fewbie and above

When:  8 November 2025, Saturday

Meeting time:  6:30 AM - Sharp (Without any exceptions)

Action Plan:  Starting in Lisali, making our way towards Murquab

Approximate finish time: 10:30 AM

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Recommended off-road gears: Walkie-talkie radio and off-road flag (MANDATORY), plus tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher.

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Thursday - 12 PM.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

It's early in the week. Life happens. One or two might drop and others still might join. I might also adjust the length on Friday to allow one or two from waitlist onto it. Another thing sometimes happens is we get another lead to lead half of the drive allowing everyone to join that drive. Let's see.
