2005 wrangler_Reverse gear not working

Hi,

Has anyone faced similar problems of the reverse gear not engaging? i.e., the gear lever is at 'reverse' but the vehicle dos not move! However all the other gear works fine.

Any advice please

Get the gear linkage checked, it must have some issues in engaging the lever on reverse gear. If thats not the issue then its big problem (gear rebuild).
