Cherokee 6-beep tone

My Jeep Grand Cherokee is a 2000 model started having this weird habit of 6-beep tone when I try to start it. Any idea why it is so? Please don't tell me its bcoz the vehicle is too old. Upon close inspection i felt the sound comes from somewhere near the steering column. pls suggest what this could be. Gud night

If there is some warning light on dash is there, please share what color and how does it look?

If no warning light appearing, then check all fluid level may be getting low: coolant, wiper water, power steering etc. Check and top up everything. I am sure its two set of 3 beeps, right? It appears as low level warning to indicate the level is depleting and few more days it will flash appropriate warning light in dash.

WOW, in 2000 model there is beep / chime for wiper fluid. Amazing Americans....!
