KiaDxb Posted January 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 If you are a good mechanic do it or else look for some professional. The timing belt drives the water pump. Set the engine on top dead center. Align the timing marks, use white marker to mark their position Remove the fan belt and then fan. Remove the top radiator hose. Remove the thermostat housing assembly. Remove the fan belt bracket. Remove the timing cover. Remove the two camshaft pulleys. Remove the back plate of the timing cover.
