  1. You need to check the knuckle joints on the steering column for play. Then jack the car up and check the steering arms where whey join onto the rack and the track rod end where it connects to the hub. If these are ok, look at the upper and lower wishbone bushings and ball joints. Should take a mechanic 5-10 minutes.

  2. If you're driving off road at night and need more light then they're useful. If you're using them on road, you don't need them and you're going to piss everyone off.

  4. Watch some videos on YouTube. It's not so difficult but once you mix the resin you only have 10-15 minutes to work with it until it turns to jelly and starts to set. Less if it's hot. Once it starts to go like jelly you have to throw it. If you can work somewhere with ac it's better. You can buy the complete fiberglass kits cheap in most hardware shops. The fiberglass is like a cloth made of glass fibers. You cut it to shape, then sort of paint the resin into it with a brush. I'm working on a project with foam and filler at the today. Not difficult but you need patience and you may need to mix many small batches depending on temperature. If you can afford it, you can use carbon fiber but I'd recommend practicing with fiberglass first. Carbon fiber is too expensive to mess up.

  5. @umarcrespo333 you should always try out your ride in the desert, that way you realize what you need before making any mods. There is no thumb of the rule that applies. I am not a big fan of wheel spacers, but in some 4x4s it becomes mandatory to do it of you lift the vehicle, but make sure you get branded reliable wheel spacers rather than the Iranian's make shift job that makes your vehicle more unreliable and dangerous.

  8. @Sidshk can you further simplify your concern for better understanding: Is it play in steering wheel while turning either sides while driving. Is it vehicle pulling to either sides when leaving steering wheel and at what speed Is your steering wheel straight or any alignment issues. If you can give some details about the same you will get better solutions i guess.

  9. You can build it up with expanding foam then shave it off to the shape you want then cover it with sheets of fiberglass. It's easy but time consuming. If you make a mess you can pick the foam off and start again.

  11. Are you having issues with the gearbox at present? if not, maybe it's better to leave it alone. If it's not broken, don't fix it. If you need a contact for a transmission builder I can supply but first ask yourself if you need it.
