  1. My best guess is it looks like the area on Al Ain road, the very first dune on left side opp The Sevens - 24.963717, 55.522598 We have done this route on 11 May by chance from Tawi Nizwa shops - Camel Market opp The Sevens. With the bit of bushy terrain (in your pic) and flat dune formations + gazillions cross track from desert safari cars, I'm almost 90% certain of this area. https://carnity.com/gallery/category/76-newbie-fewbie-day-night-drive-11-may-2018/

  2. Definitely photoshopped, as such dunes are at least 20-25 km or more away from Burj Khalifa in a straight line. And above SZR view seems like 5-10km max away because at 20 km away all the fine details vanish and skyline become too small in proportion of displayed sand dune.

  3. It adjusts the AFR. I wouldn’t mess with it without a gas analyser connected. Make it too rich and the valves will carbon up, too lean and the engine will run hot.

  4. I would love to see some post mortem pics of the old engine, specifically the crankshaft, bearing caps and bearings. From the video I saw I heard the rods knocking but I’ve read the top end was also making noises? Usually if there is a loss of oil pressure bad enough to affect the top end, the oil warning light will illuminate. If I had time and space I’d love to take the job on. Sounds like a crank regrind and a set of oversize bearings, maybe a set of rods if the bearings spun would fix it but without seeing inside and doing some measuring it’s pure speculation.
