I have not moved everyone as yet to the main RSVP, I will do this tomorrow when I close the drive. However, I would appreciate if your plans have changed and you do not intend to join us, that you please go in and remove your RSVP so that we can work out who will be in which convoy and in which order. I am really looking forward to welcoming you all onto the drive on Sunday morning in the beautiful white sand dunes of Fayah.

DRIVE DESCRIPTION Welcome to Carnity off road club Fewbie drive, meeting and ending at Fayah meeting point of the beautiful Abu Dhabi Desert, please ensure your off-road gear is as per your rank and you bring lots of enthusiasm with you. MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities Drive Details Level: Fewbie and above Meeting time: 7:00 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/acreM77zLxB2MRu76 If you approach the gate it will open automatically. Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 11:00 AM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 1 PM. Dear Desertnauts, get ready to follow in the tracks of the DCT Champions, chasing after the most valuable "Red Waypoints" of last month's challenge. The meeting and deflation point is quite far if coming from Dubai. It'll be on the left of the Razeen Road, which you will take off of the E30. Keep in mind to refuel with a full tank at the last available gas stations, which are the ADNOC Station Razeen #128 on E30, or ADNOC Station Al Faya #891 on the E22, both in the Al Khatim area. To reach the actual meeting point along Razeen Rd. you do not have to follow the Google Maps directions all the way to the roundabout of Al Quaa Rd. but can cross the tarmac the moment you see the meeting point marked on the left of the tarmac. Consider at least 2 hours from Dubai to arrive at the starting point. Kindly arrive a little earlier then 2:30, so that we may depart as soon as possible. The drive plan will hopefully take 3 hours and a half, from entry to exit (If all goes well). We do not plan to stop for breaks (if possible), so please make sure you carry all the water and refreshments you need on board with you. The convoy order at the moment is the following: @Sunil Mathew in Second Lead @Alex T at #3 @Mohit Gurnani at #4 @Cristian at #5 and @Ashutosh Garg in Sweep. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Good morning @Dylan7 I understood that you were not allowed to participate in last week’s drive due to low ground clearance. Kindly have a look at the article below. In the case of Porsche Cayenne, this vehicle does not possess the min requirement ground clearance to join our drives, and furthermore the approach angle on front bumper would mean you would damage it very soon. Kindly remove your RSVP from this drive. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi Ale, was wandering where the "planned" exit point would be. I am planning to do the Saturday Liwa drive, and was thinking about driving time from the exit to the camp site. Thanks

Exactly @Gaurav. I was looking at our recce's track, and we drove for 3 hours (and 4 minutes), so definitely we could reach most of (if not all) the waypoints in 3 and half hours, if we plan the right track and stay away from that fenced in no-go area. Let's be optimistic and accept the challenge. 🏁

Apologies @Ale Vallecchi, I’ve just come down with a flu and debilitating symptoms. As such, I think it would be unwise to take on this trip. I was much looking forward to a classic operatic Ale drive, but alas my body has other plans. Will be back soon. Good luck with the hunt 🐵
