having too much choice is not great... I decided to go with oversized setup of 285/70 R17... fits like a glove on my 3" lifted rig with 0 ET rims... I can imaging it would look identical on a Fortuner, since this is pretty much the same wheelwell setup. All that blabing about rubbing and fitment issues I read about on other forums is... frankly speaking BS. Also, I wish I could recommend a tire shop, but you guys don't allow, so I'll just tell this: never in my life before I was in a shop where guys tried on (!) for me 3 different wheels, put different rubber sizes and allowed me to try... and didn't rip me off in the end (prices in store lower than pitstoparabia). I am slowly recovering my faith in good service quality in Dubai. And since Michellin does not offer 285/70 R17... Geolandar 015 it is...

This terrain does not call for spectacular maneuvers, nor will favor super-charged motors, but requires the driver to know how the car responds to short bursts of acceleration, how she or him manages a great deal of steering on tight or sinuous lines, and overall, what we call "finesse" driving. The chosen track is a challenging one, where our Crew takes the prospective Leaders to train for leading a convoy in the "Leaders Lead" series. hence, we will be tested in terms of endurance, patience, and very fine skills. If a member does not command these kinds of skills, it only knows half of what off-roading is all about. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 7:30 PM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. Hi All, I’m wondering if anyone is a Ranger raptor owner and can advise/share tips on which low profile bed rack would be best that can house a root top tent without it sticking above the cab height? If I may share my two cents. KUMHO, a Korean brand makes some very robust, high quality tires as well. They are very similar to KO2 BFGs but roughly 25% cheaper. They have thicker than average sidewalls meaning they are more pop out resistant as well which is a BFG unique selling point (Pop outs are ofc always a possibility with any tire unless you have accompanying bead lock rims as well). I would rate both BFGs and KUMHOs the same for off-road performance (top tier), However, one aspect where they even outshine the BFGs is their on-road comfort. They still look great like BFGs, but have slightly more streamlined tread/pattern making them quieter on the road and at higher speeds. Definitely check them out!
