Do you have any prior off-road experience? If yes, pls share details. Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks/eyelets. Advise if you don’t have a programable radio and safety flag. MUST WATCH: NEWBIE VIDEO BRIEFING Drive Details Level: Newbie and above (all levels) Meeting time: 1:00 PM (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rToMy4vn4dFRf1b76 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 5:00 PM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 12 cars only. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others on the waitlist. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee. A convoy list will be sent out the day prior to the drive. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Indeed it was a lovely drive despite the unfortunate event with @Bjoern and apparently with @Andrei S which I learned about it just when you commented above . In the desert nothing is certain and the wild will always keep for us something in its store even I realised at the end of the drive that I was driving on springs and my shocks were gone ! nevertheless the chilly goosebumps in the morning was gone with the first crest of @khlief As we got the chance to exercise shoveling it. After that he was more courageous as a first Fb plusser 😄 When I came back to check the V8 beast wrangler from its position I knew the 4wD was not engaged thanks to @Mark B when noted the trick . Also thanks to him pulling me from the mixed construction sand before the track . Heading in line toward NAGRA now the flow was fast and fluid till just less than km to NAGRA I decided to exit as it was not a good idea to continue with a bent control arm and gone shocks . Safely back to the starting point. I would like to thank every one of you for sharing the passion and the support team for all the help and giudance . Thanks very much for a great drive @Ale Vallecchi, @Hani crest king, and @Benje_Junior. Had a ton of fun and learnt some new things. Really liked the pace – I’ve never driven this fast before over the dunes or for this long which made it even more thrilling. @Benje_Junior Thanks for getting me unstuck & finding the way back many times.

SUPPORT TEAM Pre-requisite 1) Minimum 10 any level "Carnity" drives are required after your Intermediate promotion to become eligible for the Support Team. Once you decide to join Team Carnity to excel further with your off-roading, people, and commanding skills, you will be extensively trained by the whole Team Carnity from Expert - Marshal - Crew at various stages by supporting different levels drives. Activities for Support Team Members Support different Marshals and Crew at Newbie level drives to demonstrate: Your ability and willingness to support new offroaders. Ability to gain control of commanding situations. And clear communication skills to help manage the convoy. Possible progress toward becoming an Advisor Once you have proved to be a regular Supporting Team member and have supported different trip leads on several Newbie and Fewbie drives, we will gather your periodic feedback. Based on this feedback and reviews you might receive an invitation to become a Carnity Advisor for further advancement within our community. You will also need to have completed a minimum of 5 Intermediate Level drives, and be a regular club member (minimum supporting 6 Newbie or Fewbie drives per quarter) to become eligible. Being invited to an Advisor role means we put our faith in you as a passionate club member who displays maturity and passion to carry your knowledge on to new off-roaders who are still progressing through the ranks.

The drive plan, if well executed, will cover the better part of 3 hours. A nice recap of technical driving skills, before Christmas and New Year, to prepare the members for the many drives to come during the Holidays time. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face masks, rubber gloves, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 05:30 PM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. RECOMMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR: Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge Compressor (MANDATORY) Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY) Off-road flag (MANDATORY) Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles First-aid kit Fire extinguisher. Thank you @M.Seidam - I think that was my first time driving with you. I really enjoyed it, nice routing through the sand and a fun mix of terrains. It was also good to help our friends exit the desert slowly and safely, and hopefully some easy fixes at the garage this week!

A drive to remember and a great experience to be part of thank you @Ale Vallecchi for the great wholesome drive and being considerate with the route. The first half was a challenge gladly finished at the start of the day and the convoy got in rhythm with a couple of pop outs. As for the second magical half was a stunning drive with a smooth flow of climbing those dunes and perfectly mixed sideys and criss-crossing. Nahil sunset and full moon was the cherry on top. @Benje_Junior thank you for all the support you gave across the whole convoy and sharing your experience.

Thk for today's drive @Ale Vallecchi which was my first fewbie and quite intense drive. Now i know well what pop out is and hopefully wont be getting many of those after i improve my desert driving skills. Hope after few more drives will be able to stay for the whole day of driving on the dunes. @Benje_Junior tks for your support with fixing pop outs and explaining and showing what and how to do!
