I am seeing the ads too much these days for renault duster in dubai showing as get the best offorad experience and reach the unreachable bla bla. Last month when I was checking and researching same car then 2 of my friends says that it will sneeze on the beach sand so let alone uae offroad experience. I really can't understand who is right and not... Can someone please shed some light on this car or suv or 4x4 (whatever they call it). Thanks.

Hi Friends, My 2008 Ford Edge with 139000 km began to show a problem when I press straight down on the accelerator but the Edge would not respond. I tried and change gear but nothing happen. At the same time observed a transmission lagging, dropping, and loud/hard changes while shifting in gear. I called the Ford dealer. They said to switch car off and back again on. After that test out car worked excellent. It began working as if absolutely nothing was wrong. Instantly Again the same has happen yesterday when I was on a road trip where it felt like transmission slipped out of gear and the wrench light came on and off. But this time I also experienced it was in neutral, it wouldn’t accelerate when I pressed the gas. I did the same switch on/off activity and it seemed excellent. I am afraid now about this continuous problem with this car. Guy's please suggest me best garage near Al quos to fix my car soon in affordable prize price. That will be great help.

I am looking at buying a 2009 (or 2008 perhaps) Cayenne S/GTS or possibly a Turbo: I am wondering if forum members can advise what to look out for? I am told the drive shaft can get noisy and local agents will only replace the complete part rather than just the bushings, for example? Problems with Air suspension? Gearbox? What to look for/inspect when checking a prospective car? Are the Turbo's troublesome and to be avoided? I am not that interested in 'huge' performance, so Turbo is not important to me, unless its the car of choice. Any advise from the collective forum knowledge greatly appreciated.

Sell any car is fraud guys only there to buy your car at 50% of the market value. other are classified sites, try selling at classifieds sites with reasonable price expectations and keep lowering asking price every few days to find out the best price. post here on carnity classifeds as here you get more real people than the dealer calls.

I did some research about this car earlier & I disagree with some opinions here.. This car can go offroad, in terms of taking you to mountains, hiking places, deserts for easy cruising & camping.. Etc It is not suitable for serious off-roading, in terms of climbing big dunes or going rock crawling.. It was designed to do that, this is basically a Dacia duster, built for the rough roads of Eastern Europe & mild adventures off the Tarmac, the manual gearbox have a very low 1st gear ratio, to help in crawling off the road, and engine power is low but acceptable for the weight of the car.. if you want to simply take it to the beach, go camping in the desert, wadis, mountains... Etc, it is definitely capable.. if you want to go serious dune bashing, following an offroad club track for example, it will be fine for the first level only, easy drives.. After that it will struggle with power, clearance & front/rear bumpers... It will be around its limits in stock form.. all in all, it is a very nice small package, but for an active offroad life style, I would go bigger and avoid the risks

hey guys i am a owner of audi quattro 2008 model, recently i have noticed that the air suspension will not rise i have never had issues like this previously but one morning ci start the car and i wont rise so i switched it off and restarted the car but it still got stuck in the down position. any clue what cud be the problem

The 2017 Infiniti QX30 provides Mercedes-Benz origins, and shows a new globally style impact and item path for business. I individually find it fantastic with it amazingly competitive style, with its German carefully powertrain and its likely performance ranking. But on the other side I feel it opposite about the limited interiors area, might be taller car driver like me experience it's difficult to drive. I hardly found out much more information about it complete specifications or technical briefs on internet. Does anybody has idea when it going to place on sale in Uae: 2016 or 2017?

Hi guy, I am having an issue with my 2010 Hyundai Elantra. I am not sure about what that is, and why my car began acting like that. Well everything was quite ok before 7 days. It ran about 130000 only. Yesterday returning to home from office I observe that car jerking like it was not in the right gear. I tried to control by shifting gear enounously twice and three times but seem nothing happening. I parked it near petrol station for about 10 min and tried to do some examine like getting car in reverse but nothing happen, Subsequently I took a little run and figure out the same snazzy jerk again. Slowly I took it to local garage and got to know that transmission is began slipping again and again without verifying car throughout. He advise me to change it. I was amazed to the need of transmission change absolutely only after five years of smooth driving from office to home and home to office. I am not sure about it but seems like the transmission slipping has been common issue with this year of car design. The garage guy said that for this car exclusively 2010 to 2013 they are changing transmitting at least one per day. Now when I went to Cars dealer they said another tale that there was an internal failure in 3rd gear!!! Different tale for different day might be. This is silly that a transmitting would have to be changed this soon? Is that a issue with this year/model car? Please recommend me guy whether I should go with authorized dealer or Local garage??

Hi, I hardly found a solution else for GCC car problem. Finally this Carnity look good and specific to GCC problem. Which caught my attention, and that the first time I saw a Forum in UAE??? I hope I can get the cure for my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I would like to inform that I had this Jeep wrangler Sahara with GCC spec when I came to Dubai in 2009. Well I hardly had major problem with this car because I used to travel every time with Metro or in my friend car, only Friday or off day I used to drive this vehicle hardly 200 to 300 km a day. It has very nice condition from outside but seem having trouble inside now in engine. It had a run of approx. 140000 Km as of now. Just to inform that whenever I start a car it goes fine until 40 to 50 km of run and after that it started making a tapping or weird knocking sound that get worse after car happen to have heat up. I hardly understand the problem, I check the oil level it pretty fine. I went to the dealer as the car if out of warranty they want me to pay 5000 AED for such a small fix I guess. Whereas I contact the local garage he is quoting me 3200 for this repair. But both of them are not able to tell what problem is exactly!! Does anybody faced the same issue before and what could be a possible repair that I should consider in this situation? Please if somebody can explain me what problem it might have been going through will be great.
