Off-road insurance coverage is not mandatory for self-driving your 4x4, but in case of an accident or mishap happens then you got to fix your car by yourself.
I'm driving without offroad insurance for the last 10 years and only been in an accident (mishap) once. If you are a sensible driver who listens and follows briefing properly you'll be fine.
I registered for the Newbie drive on the same day, to support @Rahimdad. Now I’m trying to find a way to drive 2 cars at the same time so I can also join this one.
I think you already joined the newbie drive I posted. Looking fwd to see you again.
Hi ARS, you can join the offroad club and then start with an absolute newbie drive first so that you can get detailed briefing and 4x4 familiarization. If you have previous offroad experience, then do share with us on drive thread, so that we can monitor your skills and promote you to the fewbie level as per Carnity Grading Structure
Hello Rahimdad, when will there be another newbie drive? How often do they happen? After this weekend’s great drive, I am keen to join the group again. Thank you!
Hello @Rahimdad, I am an absolute newbie in terms of off-road driving but am interested in joining this drive and learn. I drive a new patrol and have not yet purchased any off-road accessories. What would be the absolute mandatory items I would need to have, to be able to join this drive? Also, is the rear towing hook mandatory to have?
Thank You,
Vimal
