    You are being overly optimistic thinking a taxi ride costs a billion Zim dollars. I have relatives there, and according to them, taxi rides could cost upwards of 10 billion dollars for rides under 5 km. If you could find a taxi that had fuel in its tank, that is. To put this in perspective, consider that the biggest bank note (Zim dollars) in circulation in that country (when I was last there, about 2 years ago) had a face value of 100 trillion dollars, and they came with expiry dates- usually about three months from the date of issue. According to the local economists, Zimbabwe's hyper-inflation rate was then so high that it could not be calculated, but those that have tried seemed think it was somewhere in the many-billion percent range when the currency was scrapped about two years ago. US dollars is now the official currency, but more than half of the country's population can go for months without seeing a foreign currency bank note. So now, people barter home-bred chickens and backyard-grown vegetables for taxi rides- if they can one with fuel in its tank, that is.

    Perhaps because all Lucid models will be equipped with automatic fire extinguishers? Another reason may be that the makers of Lucid cars have no immediate plans to make self-driving cars.

    Did your friend's Mustang have wider or better tires than yours? If so,the added traction will increase the tilt because more of the engines' torque is being transferred to the body because it is more difficult to make wide tires spin. The same is true for tires with high traction ratings.

    @desertdude is right, but I will add that messing about with final drive ratios is generally a bad idea, since it always upsets gearbox ratios,and you might end up with a result that is opposite the one you were hoping for. If you want more power, do some engine mods or reprogram the ECU with a performance tune.

    Sure, but my point was that a VIN number is a more accurate way of checking a car's age than going by date stamps on parts. That said though, your idea of using an online VIN checker is a whole easier than actually learning to decode VIN's.

    That's exactly the reason I watch these types of movies- to see when the fuel runs out. Never happens, though. However, if an apocalypse ever happens, I'll go with a Unimog until the fuel runs out. If it's a zombie apocalypse, I can just run over hundreds of zombies on my way to the next fuel storage tank. It it's any other kind of apocalypse, I'll bet my Unimog against Barry's puny Lada that I'll make it to the next fuel storage tank first- If he gets in the way,I'll just drive over him.

    I have often wondered about this apocalypse thing. The word implies a total breakdown of power grids, and therefore the collapse of industries like oil refining. So, this being the case, where would the fuel for these weird and wonderful vehicles come from after a couple of years?

    I agree. Fox bodies don't even look like Mustangs. They look more like a failed attempt to pimp a Euro-blob.

    I suppose there is no accounting for different tastes in watches, but speaking strictly for myself, I would not be seen dead wearing one of these abortions, no matter how expensive they are, or who made them, for that matter.

    Unfortunately nobody can sue the Chinese government, who, if they know what the term "intellectual property" means, simply does not care about stuff like patents and morality.

    There must be something wrong with people who would pay this kind of money for a watch. However, speaking for myself, I think the current prices of sour grapes and lemons of the kind you have posted here compare very closely.
