  1. Ooooooo......Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed .....again or maybe tanked a bit early in the evening......again! Talk you in the morning after you've had your coffee and gotten over the impending hangover that awaits you!
  2. Damn spent 20k for a plastic lambo body! Bet if they searched hard could have gotten a wrecked or non working older lambo or some other sports car and fixed it up over time. Would be a long term father and son project too and in the end there would be a proper sports car
  3. On a sheep nothing lasts that long and bigger question is will the sheep last that long!
  4. Dunno about now but earlier if you went to the RHD used car market you could see a lot of such JDM rarities over there
  5. Just got 3rd Party insurance on my V8 03 Range yesterday for 1155 and thats the most I've ever paid for 3rd party insurance on a V8. I dunno how and why you guys are paying close to that for V6 Pajeros ! And I only paid that much because I couldn't be arsed to "shop around" I just got it done with the agent sitting at the testing center.
  6. Go to aweer used car complex and get yourself a Jap import 2dr Tahoe, nice and clean and you know they haven't been played around here in the sands. Just be careful not all of them are 4wd
  7. Nah, only on the LC. Didn't keep the sheep long enough that it required plugs. Go with forum wisdom on this one. And it happens very often that regular bits are the same as aftermarket just in manufacturer packing. Might be worth it with big ticket or pricier items but when there is a price difference of just 30dhs than just go with the OEM stuff. Like Range Rover Sport OEM brake pads are made by a company called textar and even the pads themself have textar branding on them but if you buy them in a LR box vs a Textar box there is a difference of over a 100dhs in such cases I would say go with the aftermarket bits
  8. Get an engine degreaser spray it liberally. Wait for it to do its thing and then rinse off.
  9. Get the Bosch 4 pin platinums. A bit pricey but worth it. You'll feel the difference. I put them in my Land Cruiser and who ever drove it asked if I had done any mods like getting it chipped or headers.
  10. P.S : if you're not getting it. Let me know the details
  11. That looks like a sweet ride which seems to be pampered quite a bit. The interior and exterior seem to be flawless. I wouldn't have any hesitation getting it if the price was right. As I mentioned earlier in another post my old landlord had the exact same ride and he abused the shit out if it day and night, on and off road but it still drove like a dream no squeaks or rattles. No vibes clunks or Thuds. Even with 450k ish kms on the clock it purred like a kitten and pulled like an ox. I've always like the Tahoe but that really made me a fan. In the desert it prefers big rolling dunes and not a fan of chewed up cross tracks. The suspension is soft to give it that wafting ride on road but makes it pretty bouncy off-road which in turn makes it lose traction of climbing on anything other than a smooth face.
  12. The pickups and full-size SUVs have some of the biggest mirrors. On the new Chevy silverado you even get automatic mirrors which extend outwards incase you are pulling a long trailer
  13. Yes open up the timing cover and see if all the timing marks on the sprockets line up
  14. That's not a hobby but forced labour
  15. 95! Other then a few select vehicles you'll hardly find anything for anything from 95. And who is this person who is still driving a 95 Ford Explorer! Should be given an award that he still has a running Exploder from 95! P.S : If really that desperate order them online. It'll cost you though
  16. Maybe you need to stop parking in the same location
  17. I don't even leave loose coins visible in the car and if there is something I put it in the footwell and cover it with the floor mat P.S how come car alarm didn't go off?
  18. Semi Synthetic of any make is just a waste of money. Because there is no set guidelines as to what constitutes as semi Synthetic they can mix in 0.5% of semi syn and legally still sell it as semi syn. So busy out a little extra and get fully syn or save up and go full dino oil. As for Adnoc I used it long term on my range rovers and discovery and had no issues with it. At 300k I opened up the disco motor to replace the timing chain and it was still clean as a whistle.
  19. Well you know he never comes out of Ajman and maybe there is a shortage there! LOL
  20. Potable water might become precious but water to wash cars will always be in plenty of supply. So don't worry too much about it
  21. I think the dumb decision was to buy a Camry in the first place
  22. Selling a Camry and getting yourself a 4x4 is never dumb.
  23. Using waterless car wash to wash your car is as good as using tissue paper to clean you arse.
