  1. Why don't you get them to write in an email if the side airbag gets deployed "without an accident" will they cover this in the warranty? Now they will help you with all the support, data, and spec sheet you might need.
  2. Armada were made in US in that era and falls apart after 5-10 years of use. If you have one already then they are fine as a forceful offroad toy, but for buying one as a dedicated offroader, I wouldn't vote. Apart from build quality and electric issues, being extra big and heavy will limit you offroad adventure after 5 drives.

  4. Just to clarify the real concern, every American brand need to disable the side airbags aka curtain airbags, as they deploy on side sloping and crisscrossing the dune very quickly. One should "not disable" the main airbags, as they are meant to keep you safe, in case of a real accident. Please speak to Ford to find a solution to just disable side airbags, they must be well aware of these incidents.
  5. Well done Chris, to introspect on your action, to make you learn faster and safer, we all learned the same way. I cant comment much, as I havent seen you and these insta360 images have flatten all the key details tbh. Keep it up.
  6. Thanks @Zubail you can upload images in the respective drive gallery https://carnity.com/gallery/category/2042-newbie-lisaili-adventure-dubai-11-may-2023/

  8. @Zubail please make sure you know how to fully switch off your Expedition side airbag, as they are very sensitive and sometime deploy on dune crossing. Second you should also know, how to disable emergency brake or some in-build feature in Expedition, as that will get you stuck on every dune when you wanna feather touch the brake pedal but that feature slams full brake.
  9. Are you using key to deflate? You can deflate 1 tire in 10-15 sec with valve core removal technique. Also why deflating to 14 on Expedition (too heavy). Does it has AT tires, if yes, then its fine. If on stock HT tires better stick to 16 for first few drives until you get used to desert driving with deflated tires. At 14 on HT tire, you risk of getting pop-out (tire off the wheel) under some fast sideway descent by mistake.
  10. Im using amazon brand some conper or conpex since last 3 years and its still working, although my usage is limited to 5-6 time a year. My light came with remote too to switch from white light to yellow and dim options for 50% and 25%. But remote stopped working maybe due to bad quality or my mishandling.
  11. Bothe are good options, but I would incline on Pajero more, although I am not a usual Pajero advocate for Gen 3 but putting against R51 Pathfinder I think Gen 3 will be inch better. You can also read my very old thread but it has very good info to know before you make up your choice. Ignore pricing or move couple of years up as a ballpark resale value. Important part is to pay extra attention to power-to-weight ratio.
  12. @lucas amat @Fares Adel and @Rajiv Sam you have been moved to RSVP, please confirm if you are still available to join.
