I am looking for good quality, trusted, heavy duty and reliable electric fan option to replace my Pajero engine fan. Although I'm still not fully convince to sacrifice mechanical fan with electric fan, coming winters should be good to test if this setup can sustain regular desert beating or not. Any suggestions or experience on doing the similar swap is highly appreciated. Thanks

Future tyres trading in Aweer has good 7-8 bays and 3-4 hunter laser alignment system bay. Got my Pajero steering alignment sorted there for 100 dhs, although it needed a bit of manual guesswork due to some lack of information, still, the guy did a good job after 4-5 attempts. Look for a supervisor than talking to the mechanic, that way its lot easy to get directed to right bay than running in circles. Very futuristic looking, I seriously doubt if this concept can ever see the production line. I'm so desperately waiting for Mitsubishi to launch again older Pajero Evolution (same as my shape) with newer engineering. They can very easily kill all off-road cars in any market with that. Launch it with 300+ hp and SWB weighing under 1500 kgs will be a recipe for success.

I had the similar issue with my 2006 model few years back with side turning beam, tried few attempts and after that changed to used one finally for proper fix. Call Abu Hassan (050 4559177) in Shj, and see if he can source one for you. I remember it cost me 1500 damn aed for used one piece headlight with an explanation that "Sir it's a Porsche".

Hi @Alfie, which car will you be testing? Do you know that most of the insurance doesn't cover motorsport here, and if something happens then you are on your own?

Coz it is no longer a proper off-road as it transforms into soft-roader that requires serious body modification and lift for regular offroad use. Prior to 2004 model year, it is fantastic off-roader and ready for any use out of the box. I personally know, two guys who have spent a lot in that transformation of their 2008 and 2010 model pathfinder but still not happy and fully convince.

Thanks everyone for joining, and it was the most memorable drive for me after a very long time. As my wife and kiddo have joined, and they both kept encouraging me for high-speed dune bashing with their screams and excitement throughout the drive. Everyone missed our dear Superman a lot including my son, who was looking for Rahimdad's car on every stuck and refusal. We all started almost on time, and the weather is getting so much better that at 2:30 - 3:00 PM standing outside was almost pleasant unlike before. We straight head to Lisalli fort and entered through the small-medium technical range, played there for an hour while heading towards the Qudra side. After an hour we cut short the route through a track and headed to nice medium long dune range behind Qudra area and had the best of drive experience. With an amazing experience in convoy, we never stopped or had any major incident and kept playing on those amazing dunes with the spiral track by going up and down on every dune. Cutting almost all the ridge sideways for the real excitement and adrenaline, everyone drove just perfect in that terrain. As this area is famous for gazelles sighting, so I have spotted many gazelles and tried to chase few of them too for good photos and will see what I have got in my camera. By 7 pm we have reached to the Qudra lake and found a nice clean spot next to the lake for setting our bbq and food session. By now everyone was very hungry and looking forward to a quick relaxing drink and some nice food. Thanks to Noor we had some amazing fresh hotdogs, sweet potatoes and marshmallows. Thanks to Saleem we had nice chilled green tea. We spend almost 2-3 hours there and enjoyed every bit of nice breeze and ambiance with awesome company and talks.

Behind Macro in Sharjah, you will find Jabal Tokyo and few others having the Pajero used parts. Try your luck, as I have never been disappointed by that market.

Yokohama Geolander ATS has been offroad community best friend since last few years. I am using my second set since last year and the previous set lasted for 3+ years. So in short, I am very happy, satisfied and content user of Yokohama Geolandar ATS since 4 years. It offers the perfect blend of on-road smoothness and quietness yet offroad requirement of good grip and traction for most difficult of situations. They are not as heavy as other competing brands like Cooper, BFG, Mickey etc. so you get good fuel mileage and no humming noise on the road and better hill climb and self-recovery in desert terrain. Yokohama Geolandar HTS is a road tread, and if your fortuner is 100% road car then you are better off with HTS than ATS, as it is tad more smoother and lighter for all road usage. However, if you drive offroad too then go with Yokohama Geolandar ATS.

As the weather is getting better, let's have an easy fewbie level drive from Lisalli fort to Qudra lake and end up with a relaxing get-together or bbq session if anyone like. The beauty of this area, the wide open dunes, and with the occasional sighting of wildlife like gazelles and oryx are all reasons to set your pulses racing. The plan would be to meet up at 2:00 pm as per the below link and then head out to have some awesome fun through terrain that will leave you wanting more, and we will end it with a good spot to sit around Qudra lake and have a BBQ session with chats about the drive, general talk and share some jokes. For me, it was faulty when it wasn't working and when after the complaint they fail to provide credible proof to SEDD and agree to refund than replace it become fake too. If it was original, then they could have simply replaced it from their source. In reality, god only knows what integrity Al Qaswa Spare parts have and time will tell more in detail if they continue to survive with such ethics and pathetic customer service.

Well, Al Qaswa Auto Parts were requested to submit the proof of their purchase of that part and they submitted that in the plain white paper without any name of shop/dealer/agent of Mitsubishi. I assume some action must have taken here from SEDD. After that Sharjah Economic Department officer requested me to call the shop again for seeking the immediate resolution. I was fine for seeking a replacement either as I still need it, but Mr. Boban told me over the phone that they can't order again so they will refund my money. When I visited them for returning, they literally forced me to sign on paper saying - Reason of return: "customer no need" instead of "not working". Salesman: Rajesh was very aggressive, rude and disrespectful in throwing paper around when I wrote: "not working". Wasted my time in argument and when they saw that I won't sign that crap, and was ready to leave the shop they accepted me to sign on the genuine cause. I really don't know what action SEDD has taken or planning, as I just reported my side of incidents to them and they closed my case after that with an email and SMS confirmation.
