    Go with your gut feeling than anything else. RTA doesn't provide seller history neither the dealers here. So you left with what really in front of your eyes than trusting some random stranger. If deal is way too sweet, then run away

    What he meant is comprehensive test is not worth as much as it sounds by its name. I kind of agree too with it. However, my take is still go for it as it "sometimes" it point out some immediate concern based on which you can re-negotiate the selling price and this 350 can save you 2k-5k in buying price.

    I have done comprehensive test in Aweer Tasjeel few times in past in last 2 years. Go here: https://goo.gl/maps/LF2iQQb7FXH2 Click on left side photos (9 photos) and scroll to 5th photo - list of fees (blue board) showing comprehensive rate 350 and that image clicked in Aug 2017, so it seems they still do comprehensive check.     Wow Mohd what a nice waterfall and you are indeed lucky to enjoy it, in my last visit I haven't seen one inspire of lot of attempts. One of my friend just came back last week from salalah and advise that you should also enjoy the best and fresh pomegranate of this season, which should be available now. Sid, don't drive in night as I did that mistake once accidentally and totally regret it, go with Mohd suggestion and another advise to not to eat full stomach while long distance boring drive. And also get full 8-10 hrs sound sleep before driving if you are attempting in one shot - 12 hrs stretch. Abbas, welcome aboard and enjoy salalah, due to some unavoidable circumstances i have to drop out. Do keep us posted and share some nice pics and videos

When: 31 August 2017 Meeting time: 3:30 PM, convoy will move sharp at 3:45 PM Where: Adnoc Petrol Station Maleha Road GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/mzb26kxzte72 Level of drive: Newbie - Fewbie (Including absolute newbie too) Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance Plan: Day drive from Faya to Camel Rock to Fossil Rock What to bring along: Evening snacks - whatever you like with little extra to share, plenty of water, liquids, smiles, stories, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.     Known resellers like Divya, Dhanya, Majelan, Sindabad, Ayash etc. are just fine to buy. Just make sure every time you buy OVER insist the sales person that you want 100% genuine couple of times and not number 2 option. As I encounter once with Sindabad that when I insisted repeatedly he admitted that it's number 2 as number 1 is not in stock and I have to wait for 1 day.

    I used them once when it used to known as Cooper Discoverer ATR and they were really nice in offroad with mild bearable noise on road. The bigger problem was loosing the chunk from shoulders after a year of usage with 6-8k km wasn't nice. Changed them in 18 months and found them expensive for 10-12k kms usable + good looking life. Off course people use them with shattered tread and broken shoulder pattern upto 40k kms, but they "looks" horribly unsafe for offroad.
