  3. I have seen a lot of these in Sharjah also. Mostly used by mechanics to transport small parts around. It's scary when I see some Arab kids in the middle of the road with these. I guess the Police have confesticate loads of these, but they keep on popping out of no where.
  4. Same issue @Shamil had with his X when installing the switch, but he got it sorted out. Thanks for the diagram @Nivin. Very helpful.
  5. Calling all Xterra owners. @Shamil, @Kalahari, @Emmanuel, @Desert Dweller, @Foxtrot Oscar, Dr @Chaitanya D. Blueprints please.
  6. Congratulations @Rizwanm2. Looking forward to driving with you tomorrow.
  7. @Christian Andras just go with RSA direct online. Bigger tires are not a mod and insurance depends on police report. In the very few cases we have, we always helped to get the vehicle closer to the road. No issues with RSA in over 5 years.
  8. @Rizwanm2 you've been added to the drive. Congratulations on your new X. Looking forward to riding with you again.

  10. Oops, that number is so close to my number plate. I started wondering as I always abide by the precautionary measure set by the government.
  11. Congratulations @Lorenzo Candelpergher. Really a champion all rounder. Very happy to see you make it through with your Y62. It's not an easy task, but surely your persistence and flexibility has earned you your new rank. This is where the fun gets over and you need to get your hands dirty. Wishing you nothing but the best.

  18. Congratulations @jodha singh shekhawat. Well deserved my friend.
  19. Besides the flag and communication common sense is also not there. On 6th second you can see sand flying meaning the FJ was stuck. Without paying heed just go with the flow. Typical attitude of people not paying attention to their surroundings.
  20. Really sorry, somehow I slept through my alarm clock trying to tell me it's time to wake up. When I woke up it was just too late, but after @Wrangeld courtesy to take my call in between his briefing I dressed up and left home to play catch up. Unfortunately my second issue came with the Sharjah Ring Road being closed by Sharjah Police. Being already late I still kept heading towards Lisali. Once I reached Lisali and deflated I called @Wrangeld again and he immediately sent me his whereabouts. As I tried to make my way to the point it took me a good 45 minutes, I found some tracks and considering them to be the convoys tracks I kept the chase on. Somewhere down the line I had split tracks and tried to follow one of them, unfortunately they lead me to a farm and out to the track with no sign of the convoy. To my luck there was a pop-out and I was sent another waypoint, but you guys were really quick as I reached that spot in about 20 minutes, but once again all I found were tire marks. Once again I followed the tire marks and once again found the tracks without the convoy. At this point I decided to head out and wait, but saw @Frederic and after learning there was a vehicle that needed help decided to help him out. When heading back in I saw you guys with huge smiles, and after witnessing the tracks you all had been through I knew that smile was not for me.😂 I had some extended fun with @Frederic and glad to see everyone exit safe and with smiles. Hopefully my alarm will be a bit more firm to wake me up on time from now on.
  21. Congratulations @sertac. Very well deserved and very hard work put behind the scenes to realize and work towards a goal. The reward of learning this art and staying focused is the smile and good report we receive from all members. But I'm so happy that you're have been voted to be at an Advanced level unanimously. Everybody felt that your contribution and willingness to help should earn you this promotion. Very proud of you buddy. Keep up the good work.
  22. Congratulations @AviG. Looking forward to driving with you soon.
