From the saying of “ don’t believe all what you hear nor half what you see “ I partially agree with @Rahimdad bhai regarding the analysis to the clip above. and personally I wouldn’t try anything like that to my lovely X unless in despair and have nothing to loose other than my life 😅 . On the other hand i would admire those who understand their own machines and how things may work and try apply such tricks that may help when in the middle of no where. last but not least I thank God that we have ppl in @Carnity that I consider them legends and icons to this car community.

That is true in performance equivalent . However I am really not quite sure if it has central locking mechanism !

@Gaurav bhai and @Rahimdad bhai in case of no diff lock ( my X is lacking it ) what is the alternative ? in other words is there a way or trick that may simulate the diff lock ? .. off course we are talking here about the stuck situation ( except central crest stuck )

.... couple months ago I was driven in my own “broken” vehicle by some one whom I consider the true inspiring booster for what I am now in the desert at a time that i had no clue in sand driving and I will never forget that as long as I live ... and here we go the time comes to return this favor for driving someone else back to safety couple days ago ... this is life in its simplest form or as how I perceive it ... and for @Rahimdad whom I came to know afterword is by all means our hero in heart and action . You will always be our Superman even if you don’t where his shirt ...

What I learned from driving with @Carnity off road club is that I don’t go beyond my vehicle capacity and my own skills. If in doubt the first attempt I do it to explore and the second I boost it confidently.

@Thomas Varghese In addition to that , try not to shift often between gears while the OD is off as you might see raise in the transmission temp . If you keep it on 2 or 3 you will notice the temp almost same.
