  1. Hello dear off-roaders last Friday morning and evening drives were rich in thrill and experience and every drive carries along with it it’s own taste. revising my own tape after each drive I discover details that it might have been overlooked unintentionally. Watching others tapes discovering how much still I don’t know and how much patience and determination is required to learn precision and how to be in control from this weekend drive it turned out for me at least how important is the protection of the front underneath ( skid plate , bash plate , under armer ...etc ) which off-course will never be a substitute to the skills but it helps sometimes when waves slam the boat unexpectedly. also I learn my own vehicle dynamics and response and when to release the gas and when to push , when to steer or just let go . Also I realized how can you trouble shoot and try find solution on your own. last but not least learning how to Lead is the trust of the whole convoy behind that will do the best to maintain compliance and stick to the rules of convoy and tasks given and this is well seen and appreciated by all. I wanted to share my thoughts that’s why I wrote. cheers 👍🚙🌷
  2. Nice snaps and video @Yousef Alimadadi if you have a clip of the recovery of the pagero that would be superb . cheers 😎🚙👍
  3. @Sreejith Sreenivasan thank you for sharing as the back of the convoy couldn’t witness it , but now we know . @Srikumar instructions to @xavier and @Janarthan execution upon instructions were a school by all means. My Observation of stuck vehicle : self recovery attempt didn’t succeed despite shoveling and Rare diff lock , ( the ground sticky leveled , so essentially as if the 4 tires were at equal resistance but barely on ground ) . Just one question please : more deflation was done before or after shoveling ? ! observation of the recovery vehicle : utilized the gravity slope down to let “ winch “ and eventually recover . please @Sreejith Sreenivasan can you add these two to the thread :the greatest of recoveries . I put there already two that I Had the chance to witness my self. cheers 👍🚙🙏🏻

  9. Any time my friend @Sajit Modiyil cheers 🚙👍
  10. @Sajit Modiyil 10mm skid plate installed for my X also note the front bumper trim which hardly noticeable
  11. Hi all nice pictures and work , although I am not a fan of modification ( body , engine , suspension lift , spacers ... etc ) as this may prevent renewal of my comprehensive insurance next year ! however some modifications is inevitable to some vehicles what I did for my stock X 1. Replaced the high way tires to A/T tires 2. Minimal trimming front bumper mainly to the side , may help increase approach angle. 3. Bash plate 10mm thick for the radiator protection as it’s the weakest point in Xterra ( but 8 mm agree would be ok ) 4. In the process of sorting how to Kill the ABS while keeping the 4 wheel drive “alive “ I believe suspension lift will entail spacers to balance the center of gravity . However the bearings will be half life Short cut even with the best spacers installed, at least now not going for it .
  12. Thank all for the different feed back @Nivin thanks for the diagram
  13. Thank you @Foxtrot Oscar , I am not surprised then as I heard similar story with ABS/ 4x4 issue . @Desert Dweller can you share please where did you sort out this issue finally if I may ask ?!
  14. Thank you @Barry for the tip , next week I will try sort it out
  15. Good day On my last drive i realized how ABS kicks soon , and I decided to kill it . However it was not killed as This will kill the 4WD along or that what I understood . I appreciated from the garage telling the truth rather than creating another problem. I need a trusted place who know how to deal with the electricity of my 2012 X many suggestion please ! thank you and as I always say cheers and drive safe 🌷🙏🏻🚙 Mohamed
