How to survive a vehicle rollover ?
M.Seidam replied to M.Seidam's topic in Off-Road Club's Discussions
Dear @Rahimdad agree it’s rare to happen with all the safety measures we are taking , however as it’s good to be aware of the risk this entails awareness of how to deal with it to our best , God forbidden , if happens. The aim of this clip to show how important to protect to the maximum the neck from being swung right and left during roll over as the body is restrained in the seat belt and the “heavy head like a ball “ swinging over the weak neck . after your permission I am planing to look for real common causes to such accidents and post it later , although I am aware that most of us has an idea of more or less about it especially the seniors . However As a reference we can always go back and refresh . bless you all dear friends and see you tomorrow in fossil rock inshallah cheers 👍🙏🏻🚙🌷 -
Trust me @Rahimdad can drive any off road vehicle and with any type of tires and with no deflation and will not get stuck 😎 They are realy good high profile and I am happy since I am using them as I am driving my X on and off road equally

Theses Yokohama are magic once you put it on you keep rolling be it off or on road with no hassle 👍😎

Hello @Carnity desert wanderers check this out please

@Nizam Deen can I ask you to post it here please

Hello @Hardik Mody If it’s stock the better ( clues of off road abuse as @Chaitanya D advised earlier ) At 200k km check for the timing chain ( it’s chain and not belt in X ) when was replaced . If not then might need replacement. As well as engine and gear mounts. ( during full bumper to bumper check in reliable mechanic can tell ) GCC species , as non GCC in most insurance companies won’t be fully insured not mentioning the offroad cover. as for price this is variable and negotiable depending on the market and seller respectively . best wishes cheers

Every off-roader must know: What Went Wrong?
M.Seidam replied to Rahimdad's topic in Off-Road Club's Discussions
Exactly , as keep on rolling is an art , analyzing the situation forehead and anticipation of common possibility is the real art . The Pagero driver didn’t realize this or his reaction came late as kept on gas without steering to fish tail side , this collected sand to his left acted like a break which together with trajectory transferred all the weight in favor of flip , he was lucky . the reverse part he was probably still in adrenaline effect and same could happen in the reverse way -

@Vanessa8580 best wishes and congratulations 👍🚙 -
@RohanH valid point , but again depends on the material part used as each one his it’s on tensile strength and other physical properties such as elasticity ....etc if Ian not mistaken stainless steel comes on top as rigid then aluminum then titanium ... and each has pros and cons. Example steel hard but prone to corrosion where aluminum is vica versa . I think as long as we stick to the sand it’s not as bad the impact as would be on rocky terrain .

Hi @Niki Patel There are different thickness and toughness of skid plates available or fabricated for different vehicles Generally 8 mm aluminum plate is accepted , more than that may add to the front weight especially upon breaking and less than 8 mm might be lighter but weaker I drive Nissan Xterra and I installed a 10mm thick plate from day one as we are “xterrians” are aware of low radiator in our vehicles . Last but not least all these protectors are just helpers when “unexpected wind sometime might slam your boat “ and can never be a substitute to skills of controlled driving wish you best and drive safe cheers 👍🚙

Agree totally with @Gaurav and there is no match as maintaining the momentum entails spinning wheels
