Had an amazing Friday morning drive @Chaitanya D . I was so excited for this drive that I reached the starting point 30 mins early! Once we started , I think it took us about 30 minutes to reach pink rock and about an hour thereafter to reach Tawi Nazwa after playing some dunes near 2nd December cafe. Track was quite churned up with cross tracks giving a good morning exercise for the suspensions. The climb and bowls of the small and big red was amazing to drive with tighter technical turns avoiding the soft pits! Learned more about the throttle control required to keep moving. Guidance from @Chaitanya is gold! The gap between 2nd and 3rd would building sometime and I think that along with cross tracks resulted in few refusals. @Probir Mukherjee you handled the LC beautifully. I guess both of us learned how important it is to maintain the momentum and push that pedal when required. @Rizwanm2 great support at the sweep , rerouting when required. It was an eye opener how easy it is loose the convoy track at back. ( while coming down big red). It seemed that you didn’t agree with cross tracks! Hope to catch some more drives with you soon! one of the best memorable drives on the nice cold Christmas morning! Thanks @Chaitanya D

@Atif the LED wattage being said is “equivalent” wattage for a normal CFL or sodium vapour lamp (higher wattages). So a 100 watt is about 18 to 20 watts. You are absolutely spot on your observation!

Yeah.... absolutely! The moonlight dunes are amazing!!!!!

Ghantoot can take upto 40 minutes to pass...I passed the checkpoint around 4.15 pm and took almost 50 minutes to clear....

How many drives did the plastic container last? I used a similar setup for first newbie drive, which ended up container being shattered.
