@Marius Veldhuyzen van Zanten if you have min 8 inch of ground clearance at the front bumper you should be fine. Please measure it properly and let me know.

@Zed we always try our best to ensure to wrap the drive on time, but as we are offroading there are always chances for delays and hence I cannot guarantee everything goes as per plan.

    Hi @Srikumar

I measured 9-9.5 inches (tires @ 35psi) at the lowest point.

  2. Hi @Srikumar

I would like to join your drive. I have a 2016 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD. I have front and back recovery points, radio, flag, and recovery gear (non kinetic rope). I have done a newbie drive last weekend and it was awesome. I have also ventured into the desert with friends a few times before. I have noticed that I have a limited approach angle and struggle with steep, straight down declines. (See attached image).

Will I be fine during your drive. I am willing to take alternative routes to allow others the technical challenge.

    Please advise

    Marius

    Hi Asif

I will be driving with a 2016 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD (stock). I have limited previous experience and this would be my first drive with a club. I have recovery points in the front and back.
