@Hisham Masaad there's a problem with the coolant tank it's cracked apparently and it needs to be replaced. That's why during last week the engine overheated!

Hi @Lawrence_Chehimi I just checked with RSA insurance for the same, the policy should mention "Off Road Cover = YES" and the photo shows what's covered in the off road, but this is an addition to the regular policy, you need to ask for it. Also in case your renewal is not anytime soon, you should be able to upgrade the policy coverage at an additional fee of course

Hi guys, I will be joining you as well, I had a couple of drives previously in the desert with some friends, got stuck as well and recovered. But still so much to learn from you I have a Nissan Patrol Y62 and is well equipped with the required accessories, I will also go through the introductory videos.

OK thank you, Frederic! The reason I am asking is that I see many Nissan Patrol owners who changes this recovery point and I never knew the reason. I thought it's only to hook trailers and not for recovery

The Nissan Patrol Y62 comes equipped with a rear trailer hook, can this serve as a recovery point? If not is there another rear recovery point in Nissan Patrol, or it must be replaced? And what is recommended to be replaced with (brand, type, load, etc.)
