I acknowledge the cancellation for tomorrow's drive, It is a pity because it is the first time I was to sweep on a Carnity drive, but as you mentioned, there will be more weekends and hopefully more opportunities. Better safe than sorry. Thank you all, and I hope to catch up next weekend. -

@Simon D Thank you for the compliments. Like I said, it was not the car or the driver but the lead (Simon) that mattered. The italian job was well done in the middle eastern way and we brought the v8 beast to it. @Alphin Aloor behind me in Y61 was amazing; in fact, together we were well synchronised. Thank you for the wonderful drive, until we meet agian.

For some reason, I thought the drive was today (Saturday). Funny as it may seem, I even reached the meeting point at 7:20 am, only to realize the drive is happening tomorrow (Sunday). Regrettably, I have withdrawn for tomorrow. I wish you all a wonderful drive for tomorrow. Thanks

@Rafey Hashmi It was an experience pulling out a rig from the desert. Always happy to be of assistance, and thanks to the lead, @Davie Chase for his easy route of exit and guidance. Glad you checked out the LC70, also check out the Nissan Patrol Safari (2DR/3DR) & auto/manual version, it seems to be at the same price as the LC70

While you are out there scouting for your new rig to upgrade from your Jimny, you could also add the Nissan Patrol Safari (2DR or also referred to as the 3 door) manual or automatic option to your list. It costs around the same as the LC70. Nissan is wider and seems more stable, though you can check the technical details with the experts and take their advice. -

Hello Davie, Unfortunately, I will have to cancel tomorrow's journey because the 392 has developed a "Serv4WD" alarm and is currently in the workshop. It will take a few days for diagnostics, and then we will know how long it will take to fix the problem.
