@Simon D I take it that the drive is still on, since there are only three of us.

@JeromeFJ Thank you for your kind consideration, i appreciate it. However, I chose to confirm another drive at 8am on the same day; hence, I won't be able to join you and can be excluded from the waitlist. Thank you for reconfirming, and I hope it has not caused any inconvenience.

@Ale Vallecchi Thank you for the update and I'm glad to know that you've been able to diagnose your new car's issues. Look forward to another drive with you soon.

@Marek_was003 nice shot buddy, thanks for it, and it is nice to have you on my back i knew i was kind of cruising and always had you in mind that i needed to keep the pace to not break your momentum but then i got into trouble with the lead... @Ale Vallecchi the drive was awesome, my apologies for being too close at some points. I agree with @Marek_was003 and thanks to @Ale Vallecchithere are so many tall dunes, it was the wonderful side of Badayer. Great drive, great fun, thanks to all

I acknowledge the cancellation for tomorrow's drive, It is a pity because it is the first time I was to sweep on a Carnity drive, but as you mentioned, there will be more weekends and hopefully more opportunities. Better safe than sorry. Thank you all, and I hope to catch up next weekend.

will wait to hear from you on the confirmation of the drive or cancellation. Thanks

@Simon D Thank you for the compliments. Like I said, it was not the car or the driver but the lead (Simon) that mattered. The italian job was well done in the middle eastern way and we brought the v8 beast to it. @Alphin Aloor behind me in Y61 was amazing; in fact, together we were well synchronised. Thank you for the wonderful drive, until we meet agian.

For some reason, I thought the drive was today (Saturday). Funny as it may seem, I even reached the meeting point at 7:20 am, only to realize the drive is happening tomorrow (Sunday). Regrettably, I have withdrawn for tomorrow. I wish you all a wonderful drive for tomorrow. Thanks

@Rafey Hashmi It was an experience pulling out a rig from the desert. Always happy to be of assistance, and thanks to the lead, @Davie Chase for his easy route of exit and guidance. Glad you checked out the LC70, also check out the Nissan Patrol Safari (2DR/3DR) & auto/manual version, it seems to be at the same price as the LC70

While you are out there scouting for your new rig to upgrade from your Jimny, you could also add the Nissan Patrol Safari (2DR or also referred to as the 3 door) manual or automatic option to your list. It costs around the same as the LC70. Nissan is wider and seems more stable, though you can check the technical details with the experts and take their advice.

Hi, for this drive, the message states long range patrol's stuff, would a jeep's (392) fuel capacity be an issue?

Thanks, and I look forward to hitting the sand with the 392.
