  1. Hi all, has anyone got a recommendation for the following? Camping light, probably one of the telescopic ones Battery for the light, added bonus for a 3 pin inverter I'd prefer lights that aren't white, rather natural colour but I can't seem to find any I've seen a few on Amazon, but never really trust electrical products from there, hence looking for recommendations! Thanks in advance!
  2. Yes, it has a firm material top (I think it's plastic). It is secured with velcro all the way around and clipped down so it's pretty secure. It also has enough points to attach the bungee ropes to
  3. Personally I chose one without a zip because sand likes to destroy zips 😁
  4. One of these has done me well so far. Easy access, and can be tied down pretty well and fits most of my stuff (apart from the compressor) https://www.aceuae.com/en-ae/mac-allister-tool-bag-45-x-25-x-35-cm/2219331.html
  5. I was fully expecting this answer at some point 😅 more reason to go with a group!
  6. Yep, I wasn't going to venture out on my own, all the more reason I was hoping for something organized 👍 I'd love to join for Liwa if I can Looking forward to see if we can get something planned!
  7. Hi all, I stumbled upon the Abu Dhabi desert challenge (https://abudhabidesertchallenge.com/ - Feb 25 to Mar 2) the other day and I'd like to go see it with the family. Does the club organize any days out like this? I'd love to go and pitch up somewhere with some shade, drinks, and a picnic and see the cars competing. I would also love to go and see Dakar Rally at some point with the same plan (may be next year?). It would be a shame to miss it while living so close by! Thoughts? Maybe an organized trip?
  8. Really looking forward to this! I was wondering how "scenic" it will be? I'm thinking of bringing family (wife and 2yr old). He'll be ok in the car seat for that length of time, but wondering how bumpy you think it'll be?
  9. Hi, I am going to have to drop out of this drive due to last minute work commitments. My apologies
