    I think those snail driver drives in fast lane to purposely block traffic as no matter how much you dip light or go close to them they don't move aside. Heights of being shameless. Just witnessed one ancient white RAV4 shameless driver doing at 90 (in fast lane) on the road of 120 and whole line of 100 cars need to overtake this monkey from right side. What point these driver want to prove? What satisfaction they get by blocking 100's of car with a dinky RAV4 in a fast lane. Authorities seriously need to action something for these cases.

    I have never seen or heard anyone failing in theory test for so many times, usually 1 or 2 attempt everyone clears it up. This might mean, that they have made it so difficult to start eliminating people at theory round itself.......ummmm.

    Of course Toyota maintenance is lot cheaper than Lexus as a luxury brand. Two of my colleague have Lexus IS and ES and they both crib on how expensive dealer services are for Lexus. However if you are looking for 06-08 model I am sure you will not go to dealer with that age old car, so outside market you need to check (the most) as a concern or wait for someone to answer this here. Either ways, you can't go wrong with any of the choices, they both are awesome and proven car from decades.

    Nice use of tech. +1 @brandan authorities need to issue irreversible fines as all cars passes thru hard shoulders are big 4x4 or exotic cars with fancy number plates. Poor guys stand in queue and wait.

    Best time to buy used cars in Dubai is just before the school summer break starts, as many people wants to pack up from Dubai and wait for their kids academic year to finish and as soon that is done, they clear up all stuff from household to furniture, appliances to cars in a quick bargain sale. Generally speaking April end to June end or max mid July is the very good time to buy used cars in Dubai at awesome prices.

    I understand adil you think you can do better by yourself and save 20%, but there are people who don't have time to spend with their friends and family these days due to tremendous work pressure and those people will love to spend tad extra to get the clean deal with some good brand credibility. Btw 20% is too much, now all good used car dealer mark up 15% and you can haggle down to 10%, which seems reasonable to pay them for their hard work. Al Futtaim Automall, AW Rostamani Certified Preowned cars, 4x4 motors, Deals on wheels, Reem Automobiles are the few that I feel is the oldest and best in this business.

    @robert this is exactly what I meant in my earlier post, that there is zero protection for car buyers and seller and that's why dealer able to control the price and benefit them and benefit dubizzle to force them to close their eyes.

    Just seen this extremely stupid crashing of 2017 Chevrolet Camaro in the nurburgring testing circuit. Looks like done on purpose.... as it wasn't very steep turn that one need to over steer so much from extreme out to inside.

    It seems forever that I am researching on my car as it got delayed because of free company car I have from 6 months. Now I have collected enough money for down payment and start my research here again for buying my next car in dubai. What you guys think of Mitsubishi in Dubai on below few criteria....? How Mitsubishi cars stand in Dubai heat? How efficient Mitsubishi UAE car dealer (Al habtoor)? What is their reliability in general here? How much depreciation I can expect with Mitsubishi in UAE in general, or there is rule for more on 4x4, then on SUV and least on cars? - Dont worry I am not after Mitsubishi Lancer, but want to educate myself of depreciation differences. How is outside workshop (other than dealer) and service center welcome Mitsubishi cars or rip off...? Thanks guys.

    Pajero is very famous here in UAE for overheating on slightest hot weather. Not sure, but one mechanic told me that you are better off in removing the thermostat completely here in UAE, as temperature never go below freezing point. Same guy was so affirmative that he was ready to take guarantee if again my car overheat, so must be some solid reasoning behind his tall claim. Google this point also and see if it helps....?

    Toyota is one of the oldest brand after Land Rover and Nissan in Dubai, and highly respectable due to numbers of years in super reliable service they have offer. Toyota profit for that sake is a clear indication of the love of people and I personally know few guys who blindly buy Toyota for years and keep upgrading their car every few years with another Toyota. I am serious, they don't look outside for any other brand. This is what makes them so successful and popular.
