Nice write up @Infaz. One other note @Imran Asghar how have you determined that you need a kill switch for ABS? A lot of the trucks these days have specific modes for offroading (specifically sand/mud) that will 'almost' disable all traction controls.. except in instances where a lot of one wheel slipping is detected. In those cases the ABS can often apply brakes to one wheel to allow the other to get traction. (Think fake front diff lock) Assuming you dont have a dedicated factory front locker? Worth investigating what drives modes you have, and what changes they effect on the overall system before trying to trick the computer into disabling ABS etc through shorts. FWIW, many people install kill switch with various levels of success in the ford ranger, whereas i have left it be. I find that engaging certain offroad modes,.. plus long press on traction off.. gives me more than enough offroad performance without having to go down paths of messing with the wiring to put car into disabled modes..

Learning to turn down early is one of the most important skills to learn, once this in ingrained then the higher-level skills can be built from this base. -

@Enrico - Mountain yes definitely. I believe in this scenario he was riding a ridge that was not straight: it was turning to the right. The lateral forces pushed the vehicle off the ridge and he was fighting for a while to stay on the ridge but turned down too late. - Yesterday

@Frederic this is a very poignant example of exactly what I asked you about on Sunday's drive, and the importance of steering down early. -

π Driving Together for a Cause That Matters β Carnity Pink Rock Drive ποΈ Some drives are about the journey, and some are about the purpose behind it. Our Carnity Breast Cancer Awareness Drive at Pink Rock, Sharjah, on 18th October was one of those special mornings that reminded us what our community truly stands for. π A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made this initiative so beautiful and meaningful. It was wonderful to see the Carnity family come together, not just for our shared love of driving, but to support a cause that touches so many lives. A special shout-out to Vanessa, our lead , for leading the drive, and to Ishak and Mike for their support, guidance, and efforts in making the morning such a smooth and memorable experience. thank you and a special thanks to @Radhika for a quick and much needed yoga session. Gaurav's vision in building this community has brought so many people together, and mornings like these remind us how much more Carnity is than just a motoring community. We missed having you with us, and we look forward to the day we can all share these special moments together again. At Carnity, we believe our community is about more than cars and drives. It is about friendship, compassion, and coming together to make a difference. This drive was a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when we unite for something bigger than ourselves. Breast cancer awareness is a message that deserves to be shared every day. Letβs continue to encourage early detection, support those fighting the battle, and stand beside survivors and families whose lives have been touched by it. π Thank you for being part of the Carnity family. You made this morning truly special. Hereβs to more drives with purpose, stronger friendships, and a community that continues to make a difference. ππ Keep driving. Keep caring. Keep the Carnity spirit alive! -

It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this convoy, even though I held it back most of the time! But I learnt so much in just one drive. I am making a quarter year resolution to join more newbie drives! I want to thank you all for being patient with me and my car I wish we could spend more time doing some movements but I'm not losing hope, maybe future drives will have a full on session! Thank you to the whole team for letting me be a part of this, it was also very emotional for me being there after so many years. The photos are fantastic! I will be using a lot of it on my socials. @Vanessa8580 I love your energy! And to all those who guided me through every ditch, you guys are amazing! Looking forward to more! Cheers!
